Great insight. A short but impactful. Would really love to have a longer session from Master Mingyur Rinnpoche. Yes, I know that I will have to wait, He is off for his retreat. May he finds whatever he was looking for. Extremely impressive, his willingness to let go of everything and follow tradition training retreat. _(I)_ _(I)_ _(I)_

I may recognize that others suffer, and compassion for others certainly grows from that, but what about the suffering that people cause to others, whether other people or other animals? I become very, very angry when I see the suffering humans cause to other beings (for example, when someone wears a fur coat). In Christianity it is called righteous anger, and it is the only kind of anger that is not sinful. But what about in the Buddha's teachings? How can I transform that anger into compassion?

People have different ideas of what's right and wrong. The person wearing the fur coat doesn't see anything wrong with wearing it. But you can't help but feel anger and that's ok too. If you hold a pot of water over fire it will boil. There's nothing wrong with the pot of water and nothing's wrong with you feeling anger. I have learned to sit with my anger and watch it without labeling it for a few minutes and it eventually dissolves.

Like - Dislike, Good - Bad, Happiness - Suffering- all is in the mind. We have to go beyond mind to gain wisdom. And the way for that is meditation. Hope you understand :)
