Magazine and Au Pairs vinyl….job done, back to bed, a couple of brilliant albums Dale! 🎉 Some excellent 12” stand outs for me Television, Richard Hell, XTC, AC/DC, TH, Cure and the Clash!! What a brilliant haul of 12” records. My favourite Go4 album, that’s a classic for me. Great bunch of Siouxsie albums, Nocturne was on the RSD list today. That was a truly excellent week of pick ups Dale! That guy had superb taste. Mike

Some great arm twisting Dale. Magazine for the win. I’ve only managed to pick one up so far, rare as hens teeth over here. Smashing batch of singles. Great way to kickstart your Banshees collection. What a week! Much better than standing in line and paying through the nose for RSD. Cheers.

Insane!! Little Johnny Jewel!!! On a 12”!, That Only Ones is very collectible, Clive had it on for £35.00 (would have taken £25.00) I don’t know where to begin with this video 😂 I love that Monsoon track too!
Ho dale - Those 12" are amazing. I would have bought them. The only one I own in the XTC. Fascinating Bob Dylan 12" and Ramones too. I don't collect 7" records, but I would have made an exception for those. You had an amazing week!
Hi dale , you picked up some fantastic 12inches and I’d say you did very well with those 7 inch singles it’s all about conditions and they look mint to me .. I spent a small fortune yesterday but that’s what we do 🤷♂️
Thanks Rob, I caved and bought the 3 RSD items I really wanted from the leftovers the shops put on Discogs last night. With postage, I probably paid around £20 more in total than if I'd gone to a shop but the only shop near me just had one of the things I wanted...cheers Dale
Terrific haul and a half Dale!. Those records weren't expensive given the minty condition..think you did really well. Shame about the fogging on a few, always a hazard with those old style thick pictures sleeves. Lovely sequence of Siouxsie albums, I only have the Singles Once Upon A Time, so would like to pick up more. Nice to see those 12" and 7" singles, some great sleeves, as you say so clean. Shame the guy wouldn't do you a bit if a deal as you bought quite a few, but still a great haul. I never even bothered looking at the RSD list because Ben never participates and I would never be bothered to queue. All the best.

I think you hit the jackpot there Dale. It's so rare to find album sleeves in such perfect condition. Many of my favourites there, Go4, Magazine and Siouxsie. And you could have gone to RED and picked up a copy of Nocturne for £35!
I do love the R.E.M. albums that you picked up. I have a lot of 45's but very few 12 inch singles but I do like the look of the ones you acquired. The Blondie with the red and white really stands out. Cool Clash album. The albums look pristine as you said. I would say it was still a very good deal, a lot cheaper than a record store.

I didn't ask what albums I missed out on and try not to think about it...I enjoyed playing with the M double groove to get both tracks to play. Weird how the shorter one just stops at some sort of locked groove...
Hi Dale, a tenner for albums in that great a condition is not expensive. Not a collector of 12" singles myself but you managed to pick up some decent ones. The first two Queen albums - excellent. Not a fan of Siouxsie and the Banshees but it's great when you find a number of great condition albums by an artist you're trying to collect. All the best... Pete
Really happy to get the Au Pairs album and yes it is getting pricey if you can even find it...I've ordered a double CD of the Monsoon album and extras, as I really enjoyed both sides of the 12"...
An avalanche of excellence Dale. Did you already have the Queen and AC-DC records? I ignored RSD as usual and instead blew a load of readies on second hand stuff at a record fair in Mold.
Hi James - I've never owned a vinyl copy of Powerage, just CD. I used to have Queen II but got rid several years ago (and kind of regretted it). I have a copy of Queen's debut on CD (awful mastering) and on vinyl but without a sleeve. Glad you had a successful record fair. Cheers Dale
The Monsoon single Shakti has a dub version of Ever So Lonely on the b side which is worth having. Have you worked out why A Forest goes for so much?? That's always puzzled me. I've got a few Cure 12s but sadly not that one. Its a great song but they all are so not sure why that one is mega money. I dont do many car boots but my best find was the Q Lazzarus Goodbye Horses 12" single. Didn't know what it was until I got it home and looked it up. Shocked. Generally my best finds are things I don't know. I'm always on discogs if im looking through what i think is unsorted potential gold. Otherwise how would I know if something great or very rare is in there if I'm unfamiliar with it? Its not about value either although that can help obviously. Ive just bought a second copy of a 90s soul track I've got; Adele - Pick On Me. Paid a bit for it on ebay but still delighted as I love it and this copy is Nm plus its scarce and kind of sought after. First copy was a £1 blind buy from the bargain box of a 2nd hand record shop a few years ago, just bought it because it was rare according to discogs and I wanted to hear it, wasn't worth anything much then. Hi Dale. You did well! I love a 12” single. You definitely benefited from the records being priced at £5 each. I’m never first in a box of records (too polite) so I like it when a slightly higher, but perfectly reasonable, price scares away the dealers. As you said, you very rarely see stuff in that condition. Nice Cure 12” 👌

Unfortunately the Only Ones has some of the fogging to the vinyl but plays pretty well thankfully. The Monsoon track is great and so is the b-side.
Cracking hauls Dale. I don't collect singles, but I would be seriously tempted by some of those. Nice one

Agree John I don't mind it when the prices are higher but reasonable for decent stuff. The Cure 12" is beautiful and sounds great...
