- You all have been asking, and the time has come: this video covers the full build process for our F-550 Black Edition pickup. If you have seen our videos before, you've seen bits and pieces of the process as a truck comes together. Now, for the first time, we take you through step-by-step as we build a Black Edition. Our client opted for a stunning matte PPF covering the entire truck, and the way it transforms from Star White to Satin Pearl is incredible!
Check out the build and our client picking up his truck, and maybe even witness some of what goes in to our proprietary (and only F-550 factory-spec pickup bed in the world) beds.

That matte pearl is cherry 🍒 👌🏽👍🏽 I wanted to do a matte pearl too but I didn't think it would come out. I thought the matte would ruin the pearl but that looks nice. That looks exactly how I would want it to.

As far as extra options, we work with all kinds of customer requests!
I'd love to see a project with portal axles - similar to a Mercedes Unimog. That would be insane.

The F-350 package is still very new. We do have one that was displayed at SEMA, but we share that truck with LiquidSpring and don’t always have it available for content. We have an F-350 build currently underway and much more in the pipeline, so keep an eye out!

Hey EOG, huge fan. I was wondering do you guys offer this service strictly for the new 2023-2024 model years? Or would someone be able to pay to have this done on their 2017-2019 F550?
Thanks for following along! We can install LiquidSpring on 2017+ superduties, but our Black Edition package is only compatible with 2023+ at the moment. Ford released a new body style in 2023, so our bumpers and flares do not fit on the earlier models. We hope to be able to offer components for older vehicles in the future.

That’s a cool truck but I just can’t get past the bed. I’d put a regular straight side on it or leave the duals on it.
Without the rear flares, the tires would be sticking out about 8” on each side. We remove the DRW application for much better off-road traction while maintaining all factory towing and payload ratings. Our SRW conversion maintains perfect track width front to rear.
Is this only for the F550 or could it be done to the F450 also on a limited dully
F-350, 450, 550 and RAM5500.
How have I not heard of your company before? I must say, I have never seen another truck to compete with this vehicle. I just subbed and I am now working on an economic plan to get one. It may take me two to three years to save the cash but I’m starting as soon as get out of the hospital. Do they come in a mat green color with black trim? I like the dark colors.
Factory Ford colors but we work with all sorts of client requests.

my sis has been riding horses probally before you knew your ABCs, my dad used to lock her inside a horse staul as a kid, if he wasnt giving everything he owned to matt that is, i remember when my dad told her to clean her room as a child and she didnt so she went to clean the barn out, that prick parked a army tank in front of the door so she couldnt get out

@@bobjohns8914not necessary. When you have a nail sticking out of the tire, you pull it out with some pliers and carry on. We’ve built hundreds of these and have never had a client with a flat.

Realistically hitching a 5th wheel to one of these is a go or no? Just looking at it I'm thinking it might sit too high. That payload, though, just wow. Not sure I'd want that much payload on a single tire, though. Can only imagine a blowout with 5k+ in hitch weight and sidewalls that high.
Amazing truck, for sure. To have that kind of capability and 9.5k+ payload, wow.
Diamond C goosenecks and 5th wheels work perfect with our trucks. Regarding the SRW application, each tire has a 6400lb weight rating, so it would take a lot to exceed that. We’ve put 10k lbs in our beds with no issues!
Super single conversions on a tire like this is an amazing combo in all aspects.
F600 ? vs F550.
F-600= negligible increase in performance from the F-550, while restricting you to single cab, and an ugly basic work truck interior

Everything looks good but those front fender flares look like hot garbage. They stick out way to far. They do not flow with the rest of the fender. Makes it look like a cheap aftermarket flare that barely fits.
The purpose of the flare is to cover the tire to protect from rock chips. A smaller flare leaves the tire sticking out and defeats the purpose.
@@elevationoffgrid it is the shape that looks bad. It doesn't fall a single body line. I know why you have them on there. I have installed lots of them. I think there is so much better options that would fit and look better with the body lines of the truck. The rest of the truck looks amazing even if it isn't something I would do, the craftsmanship is top notch.

This is a beautiful truck, but it it's not getting you off grid. Its too fat. My F250 doesn't fit on any trails. That thing is a mall crawler with RV hookups. These are glam trucks fo sho.
These trucks fit even narrow Colorado trails. Check out our video “that truck can’t off-road”
