huge question. why are danish people so good at English? they have a close accent and better than any other foreigner I've heard. I'm a huge European soccer fan and almost all danish players speak perfect English. why????
I'm a Dane and I think a big part of it is our education system, but also because we're such a small country most of the movies and TV is in english :))
girl i live in san diego!! there are so many cool places you have to see and SOOO many good restaurants! my dad actually has two restaurants that you'd probably really like, candor (in la jolla) and carolines seaside cafe (la jolla shores). you should totally try them out!!
Yes I live here too and I've for my whole life but after a while you visit everywhere and eat at all the places and it gets quite boring/repetitive. But it's nice at first. After a few years you just see SD as an expensive place to live with people who are just a pain.

Most people also watch a lot of American tv shoes and movies cause there’s only two channels in Denmark and they kinda get boring sometimes lol.
It’s really annoying because my school (in England) has Dutch exchange students who stay overnight with host families, but is kind of missing the ‘exchange’ part because we do not do the same with members of our own school. We also have Australian ‘exchange’ students but they stay in accommodations like hotels etc. It’s just super boring and I wish we could have a chance to do fun things like this 😂😫
At my school (Denmark) there's also an offer to be an "exchange" student in England, but we don't have any English exchange students here. But we have some from USA and South America, where we can't go lol.

That cuz they’re Europeans and most Europeans, especially in Nordic countries, speak very good English It’s obligatory to learn in school and we also tend to mix it with our daily conversation anyway

Lydia tea it’s just because they’re cultured. Most people in the Netherlands also speak fluent English
