What do you expect from a company that exists to launder Russian money.
I was focused by a nakhimov in a desi, in less then 5 minutes i had an AA expert badge, eventually i located the f-er, with him sending wave after wave of full planes after me (remember, i was shooting them down at an alarming rate), i sunk him in 2 full broadsides of desi ap. that was so satisfying, ended up shooting down over 70 planes, never saw a freaking flight of them not full the whole match.

Skip bombers and rocket planes are the main weapons of this thing. Fire starting is a large reason why it is so broken, and you can just creep up to an island where no one can hit you and just strike every 30 seconds, while never loosing planes.
Skipbombers are nice, but the torps are the really busted thing lol
@@Seppe1106 yep, remember he did the 20k torp strike without takeing the cap skill that lets your torp do 10% extra dmg, but i would have to disagree on the "main dmg", BOTH the torps AND skip bommers are this thing main dmg dealers, due to rocket boost you have enf time to use both, alternate them (1 run skip bom, next 1 torp, next 1 skip bom and repeat) and you will never run out of planes even if you are faceing some heavy aa ships
I don't understand how people have fun playing this game anymore. This match started, flambass flew a bomber squadron over to the enemy spawn before the ships even had time to start moving, and hit a guy for 11k and a fire. How is that fun to play against, it's somehow worse than all the older CVs

Me, taking a full salvo of rockets from a Nakhimov and losing 15k hp: "F*ck you".
Been on the receiving end of Nakhimov rocket planes as an AA cruiser. Even stern in with most missing, 20k is entirely possible; totally broken, totally not fun to play against
calling bs on this lol, you'd have to eat ~1/3 of the drop for this to happen, looking at the video at 4:16 the mino that isn't even fully bow on is only ~1/5 covered by the reticle, and that's not even counting damage saturation/non-pens/torpedo protection hits
in fact I'd happily wager $20 that you would not be able to get a 20k drop with nakhimov rockets on a fully bow on AA-cruiser (i.e. wooster, petro, nevsky, gouden leeuw), not even counting the fact you're almost never going to get a full drop on an AA cruiser
at 4:15 you can see the mino doesn't activate priority sector and doesn't have dfaa, if flambass dropped a wooster with AA in that situation he probably would've lost at least 3-4 planes. I'd say max possible damage on a fully bow on cruiser is probably ~10k with freaky rng, but realistically you're trading your entire squadron for 3-4k damage.
Nakhimov given tons of torps to make the FDR's torp planes not seem so broken.
As much as I like that Flambass has started playing other games, its always fun to see him rage about how broken these newest ships are.

these skip bombs are very realistic lol
they can some how bounce 4 kilometers in 6 seconds = 2400km/h wich is twice as fast as the terminal velocity of a 1000lb bomb.
a plane can only bounce a bomb as fast as its own speed and it would slow down fast after touching the water.
I always found it funny that the skip bombs accelerate past your planes after the drop. So dumb.
if they are rotated when being droppedthey can get faster after hitting the water, which is actually how they worked i believe, but you'd still need to spin them ridiculously fast to get this speed.
Nevermind, they actually spun it backwards so it would bounce better and only had about one kilometre of range. The germans tried to put a rocket booster on a bouncing bomb though, so I guess that's why they got them first.

Yeah the rockets are straight up broken against a lot of BBs and cruisers often hitting for more than a BB salvo can reasonably expect (when dispersion and distance are accounted for).
But the thing I hate about these CVs and I have got a nakhimov from grinding the line is they are bad even by standards and promote poor play, they actually reward you for doing things that a regular CV would be punished for.
Plus they suck balls in ranked where they take broken to a new level.
7 bombs @ ~54% fire chance, 32 rockets @ ~23% fire chance, its the easiness of conqueror in planes

Is that really possible? I play mainly tier 8 DD's and as soon as I get a tier 10 match it's Nakhimov on both teams I haven't seen any other tier 10 carrier except FDR in weeks.
I gave up on CVs after numerous games in the Tier VI Weser, where it was all but impossible to do any damage. This looks way easier in terms of skill needed and map awareness.
Skip bombers are the final nail in the coffin of why nobody should ever give WoWS any money. You now have planes who can do massive damage + fire while flying and attacking outside of AA range.
Meanwhile on legends, Pobeda as the tier 7 has 6 plane strikes. But only 2000 total health and 12 plane deck sizes with just torpedo and skip bombers.

Yeah but AA is seemingly less strong on console. Plus there is no priority sector and only cruisers can equip defensive AA. I rly want to put it on my AA spec kid but I can’t. Kinda ruins it for some ships
@@odubnumero9649 I’d love to have dfaa more destroyers, but for the most part CVs are pretty well balanced.
Even without it, AA can still be exceptional, kidd and even akatsuki can do really good damage to CVs. I once played an AA build on an akat and did over 100k damage as well as shoot down 25 planes
They don’t have rockets at all so not only is that a damage type gone but it’s an entire squadron type you cannot cycle, effectively giving CVs 12-15 less planes on the deck to start with.
AA in general might be weaker, but plane health is also weaker to make up for that. In legends the most HP planes have is about 5500 and that’s at a full strength squadron, but some ships absolutely devastate even those squadron. It’s only really tier 5 where CVs are truly strong as the AA there is limited, but at top tier it’s pretty tame.
I am really sorry that Flambass didn´t use rockets against that Immelmann. I have only Pobeda, but forcing CVs to retreat from you after they eat a 15k volley (in average) of those rockets to broadside, setting fires in proces, on a ship with no healing available is just stupidly fun. And yeah, I tried getting XP on Pobeda in ranked, still Jutland is more consistent there

Fun thing is, that as long as the enemy is not pushing close to a Nakhimov, Haku/midway has still the higher dmg potential due to consecutive drops.

So what's your opinion, could we see modern Warships in the future with the The Eagle and Uniter States being put in the game? And a similar game set up to WoT: Mercenaries where they put cold war to modern tanks in their own "game mode"?

Actually, the only thing you'd kill with a nuke would be a light cruiser. Hurt everything and cause fires everywhere, yes. Direct kill, no.
Who knew the left wing for the Washington Capitals was a captain in the Russian Navy? I learn something new every day.
The console version has been out for almost 3 years already and we already have Russian CV's. We got Russian CV's faster than we got the Italian BB line(We can just now research them bc they put new tech tree lines into early access and can only obtain them from crates or when the next update drops) and we got the Italian line close to two years ago. The console version is honestly no better than PC except for the fact we only get 7 tiers + Legendary. Nakhimov is Pobeda for console...just without rocket planes(Which I can honestly see us getting). Community has been asking for SAP....They give us SAP secondaries that have a base range of 4-8km. We got Italian BB's with no free dispersion commander. The only dispersion commander we got is a premium one - AL Littorio.

It took the console dev team to add Italian BB's close to 2 years when they were out for like 8 months on PC yet they added Russian CV's when they've been out on for how long on PC? Months at this point. Dude, we don't even have training rooms or clan battles yet and in April will be three years.
I am happy I don't really have a reason to play the game now that I've met a really nice girl to hang out with and possibly to date.

I have fun when I outplay the reds. Taunting red yamas with ur broadside only for them to waste their salvo on you, doing a successful driveby on a BB, outskilling red DDs...

players are just stupid and refuse to adapt to a carrier game, never had any problem myself against a cv

Console/Legends has the Russian CV line, but CVs only get two types of planes, so no rockets, just torps and skip bombers. The CV Autopilot is also dumber.

Ebery bomb a fire, every rocket strike 15 to 20k dmg, torpedos not dodgeable because of how the planes are so maneuverable and still have the best dispersion, never being deplaned and if you are close to the target you can just drop them every 30 seconds with a full squad... Just everything about this thing is op and i dont know how it was approved to be in the same game as other ships...
It's a liability to have any other CV on your team, because you know the enemy will have a Nakimov

Played immelman after this and holy crap immelman bombs sucks 3 hits and 2 shatters on most bbs. This thing gets 2 shatters 4 pens and 2 fires
Yup console has cv already. Hell we even got Russian cv already as well. Silver lining i guess, is that they only have bombers "ap/he/skip and torps. No rockets yet. I wouldn't be surprised if we got subs soon. They don't seem to care to much. Just throw everything at the wall and see what sticks

While the console version has its own set of problems, CVs on console are definitely less powerful than their pc counterparts(at least up until this point). Then again, games tend to last 5-7 minutes on console these days, so that could be part of the reason why they don't feel as powerful. lol

Plopping the skip bombs on DDs from any angle has tilted me almost out of this game.
The worst part about console is carriers and not as many of the really good tier 10s are currently in the game

Anyone who thinks playing CV is hard, will be deleted in the first 3 minutes if they try to play other classes. Playing CV is so dumbed down to the point it makes veterans bored.

one day i'll rage quit and delete the game because of cv's, ive already promised myself never to spend another penny on WOWS until they sort the total stupidity of cv's, so for 15 months ive spent nothing on the game. i did use to spend around £500 on it
I am in the same boat. Every next game could be the last. It got close yesterday with dual CVs (at tier 8) and a CV who decided he was going to kill me, no matter whether his team needed something else or not. Because he could. It's sort of like these people who pull wings off flies.

Funniest part of wows.
I cannot for the life of me understand what would motivate ANYONE to play a CV. It's SO boring and you're hardly even involved with the game. You're just kind of doing your own thing, being a pest to the enemy. It's just dumb, and the fact you yourself are never threatened unless your team collapses makes it even more boring.
Two reasons.
One - the understandable one, to learn how to play them and what they don't do well, so you can put your ship into those "don't do well" situations but that's about all you can do because they will hit you anyway.
Two - the bad reason, because they want to win without effort.
Getting a high w/r in a CV is far easier than any other class as long as you have the most basic of skills which amounts to look "at the map, don't fly directly into flak or fighters".
Edit - reason one from good to understandable, there is no good reason to play CV except maybe 899 sniping but that's also kinda trolling because its just forcing one team to face a CV.
@@treeherder42 The first reason I understand, I would love to know how to protect myself (even) better from sky cancer, to know all the strengths and weaknesses of each CV but not enough to actually go play them 😂

I'm a little disappointed Flambass hasn't quit World of Warships (or at least sold all his Russian tech tree ships) out of support for Ukraine since the dev team for the game is based in St. Petersburg and Wargaming itself is from Belarus, one of the only countries left still friendly with Putin.
