One of the new NPCs, the guy you said had a weird helmet, I believe he's the same that shows up in Mohg's arena in the 1st trailer.
Honestly I think the reason why Miyazaki said “we will reveal more about their relationship in the future” as if they weren’t the same person is that when miquella divested himself of grace and empyrean flesh, it separated him from st Trina, hence st Trina sinking when it talks about him getting rid of everything.
Edit: I don’t think the voice of the girl is st Trina cuz it talks about following miquella and miquella abandoned st Trina (I think) and it would just be weird for her to speak so subserviently imo.
True. So we will either fight or just meet St. Trina as only a part of Miquella
@@Ryan-tn4gk it would make sense because messmer is likely more an artorias figure where he’s a late boss but not the final one cuz they never reveal the final boss early. And there’s very major characters in the lore that we know of who could be the final boss, so I’m thinking it’s possible st Trina is the final boss.
Yes. He abandoned his fate, meaning, his empyrean right to become the next god. And St Trina was probably a part of his previous plan to become a god.
the voice is probably one of the tarnished shown following his footsteps.
@@saimaurice3652 yeah that’s what I’m thinking, probably a character akin to Bernahl with how he is a recusant supporting rykard and volcano manor, she’s probably one of the warriors that also supports miquella.
In that first scene it almost looks like Marika is pulling the two mountains of bodies together. Call me crazy but it almost seems like she's literally shaping the tree itself out of the bodies and their life essence is that golden aura in the middle, like she's sealing it in the tree. Absolutely terrifying,it would also lend itself to that burnt tree in the dlc cover almost looking like it was dripping golden amber. Just throwing stuff out there for thought
Good stuff
Kind of shares visuals with the blasphemous blade/Rykard
@@Acusumano25 yeah if anything rykard was inspired by messmer
100%. In game, we can see underground how there are bodies that form around the roots and the base of the erdtree.
Narrator: "A war followed... one that could never be put to song."
The music playing in the background: "well, this got awkward."
😂😂😂
I thought it was a nod to GRRM, saying this story was so dark or something that bards would not make songs about it, in reference to GRRM's book series being called A Song Of Ice and Fire.
Well, I didn't hear anyone singing...
Theat mean no ballads about the war, no Taylor Swift.
Those 3 creatures impaled in front of Messmer and his spears are 3 lion dancers.
Mhm! With 6 spears impaling the 6 dudes controlling them!
IMO, Miquella's RUNE LOOKS LIKE a MOON (representing sleep and Saint Trina) + a SWORD (representing him as an empirean)
to me it looks like an eclipsing moon, and eclipses are kind of thematic for miquella, right?
@@mickaell07 might be
Miquella is technically carian royalty bc of radagons marriage, I wonder if the moon in his rune is bc of that
Why are we assuming it's a rune...
It looks like the alchemy symbols for the planets
I'm almost certain that this "affair" cited in the beginning was a relationship between Marika and the Snake commune.
From this affair came Messner, the first born son of Marika, witch she left behind as she walked towards the lands between, as the "golden arose". Leaving the "shadow that was born" behind.
The pile of corpses that make that "portal" is very similar to the aesthetic we find at volcano manor and the remains of Rykard that Tanis consume. And all of this should explain the symbols and lore behind Messmer...
Notice how in the beginning when marika pulls those strings out of that womb or whatever it is, and when she holds it up, the elden beast music plays. That's gotta be connected. Maybe she recovered the elden beast from a meteorite (?) and used him to create the erdtree?
The thing about Miquella divesting himself of his fate reminded me of the amber starlight item Seluvis makes you fetch for his plan to enthrall Ranni. The place where you get the amber shard has a statue of Miquella and Malenia, is surrounded by sacramental buds and it's assumed the shard is the fate of a god from the item description
If you're looking for it, it's in a crevice northeast of the altus highway junction site of grace
i bet finding the runes will be how players get their buffs
I think so too!
no that gonna be the grace/ bonfire
To me it looks like The beginning is Marika forming the lands between
I think the impaled figures are the Lion Dance characters we see, since now we know that they definitely were a faction against Messmer.
I thought it was pretty obvious that that is what they were. I was confused how he assumed anything different even after stating one looks like a dancer head
Now imagine this, Mesmer isn’t Marika’s child but her brother….
In the first dlc trailer its pretty clearly inclined that Messmer talks to Marika when he said the stuff about those bereft of grace etc.
Considering that martin was involved, he could be both
My theory for the dlc is that when Miquella saw the tyranny of Messmer over the lands of shadows, he went there to fix this (remember he always helped the forsaken) and he decided to divest himself to save this afflicted world, but when we find him, this world might have very well corrupted him...
Nah he's trying to save godwyn an malenia
@@jessemobbs8862 yes, but I think that when he saw the affliction on the lands of shadow, he turned his attention to it. And perhaps he sees a way to have a 2 targets, one stone kinda deal. Going at the origin of everything and becoming a god, like Marika did before him would definitely be a way to do it
1. That very first scene. Marika’s fist gripping and removing something from a very bloody vagina and climbing bloody steps surrounded by pillars of corpses, seemingly forging a Great Rune… it’s a bit icky but does sort of connect to Deathbed Companions.. the baby they make is a Great Rune forged by binding the dead person’s spirit with the Campanion’s spirit.
Edit-More
I think she could be reaching into the eyes of something similar to the Godwyn living corpse beneath Stormveil.
Henceforth, this scene shall be referred to as the Whispering Eye scene.
Edit-Consolidation
2. I almost think, that first scene’s ending is, as you’ve mentioned, the beginning of the Erdtree. It does conflict a bit with my own theories but also not. As you said, dead bodies become the roots. That’s why the twisty braid look comes about. The Minor Erdtrees also look this way. The stone bark covering of the Erdtree, then, hides this truth. Marika always deceives. And that opening between the body pillars is similar to the entrance to the Erdtree.
3. The person crouching in the group resembles and Erdtree Guardian, to me. Those are people who I think are also Omen of a type, hence the knots growing from their backs that can sprout flowers.
4. Well, as for a Rykard bit… perhaps this thing she steals from is the remains of a God Devouring Serpent. All that skin does mirror the bloody finger-hands Rykard has going on, or his mirror hers. Messmer’s trailing flames connect well with Rykard’s blowing up fire heads.
5. I loop together the Godskin Peeler and Stitcher, Godslayer Greatsword, Carian Regal Scepter, and Bloody Helice as being related.
6. Red-Gold, gold tainted by blood.
7. Well, yes. If Marika’s Great Rune is something akin to a rune of life, I can see that she made her Great Rune to perform this Erdtree creation ritual. A sort of all-the-things-at-once type of situation. I really like the imagery that may suggest the opening there is another passageway between the light and the dark. The Withered hand is just a back door.
Yep. But i believe its radagon because of the no boobies.
@@theredknight9314 Marika is not really as voluptuous as the mind holds.

@@kreadapelu8813 good point
The woman on the portrait in the DLC trailer was pregnant with a Rune, in the same way Fia was pregnant with the Mending Rune, and Rennala clutches an amber egg which is also a Rune.
Marika had an affair with the man, and took the Rune from his wife’s womb. Or Marika had an affair with her (as Radagon) and impregnated her with the Rune.
I think that’s what we seen at the start of the trailer.
Miquellas rune is shaped the same way the sap flows out of the shadow tree, before the crescent shaped tower top was built to collect the sap
That initial scene with what looks like Marika and the two piles of bodies looks a lot like Ganishka/Shiva from Berserk before it becomes the world tree, but instead of the Abyss here it’s the lands between?? We know Miyazaki loves a berserk reference
The gate of corpses definitely evokes griffith’s mountain of corpses
That certainly seems to be Marika in masculine form, but the hair is gold? Hard to tell.
The trailer cuts to St Trina when it says Miquella abandoned his fate.
Mesmer’w purge following the establishment of a new order reminds me of Revenge of the Sith. Complete with Messmer getting a shot of one revealed yellow eye, and some troops marching in formation up stairs.
The Gloam Eyed Queen was probably sealed away within the shadow realm, and Marika is the person who is holding up the hair in between the mountains of skinned corpses. It is said that Marika wished for the rune of death to be sealed away. So what if the first scene where the lady is taking something out of the stomach is Marika, and the stomach belongs to the Gloam Eyed Queen?
The first scenery seems like what happened in Dark Souls 1 when Disparity was created. Marika found or was granted the light of gold by the elden beast, then she turned into a god and separated Light and Shadows. What we are seeing on that first scene is problably that, the land of light in front of her and the land of shadows - the land before the Disparity.
The music is so good man
it's very reminiscent of shadow of the colossus in the second half of the trailer
So When We Found That AMBER STARLIGHT, I Guess Miquella DID Use It To Change His Fate!!! 🤯🤯🤯
He Cast Off His Fate As St. Trina…. Perhaps THATS How a Person Is Able To Have 2 Seperate Entities Tied Together Such As Marika and Radagon!?
Perhaps Marika Also Changed Her Fate Back Before History Was Weaved!?
Also Im Assuming Miquellas Runes Is How We Will Get Our Power Ups For The DLC To Make Us Stronger. We Can Choose To Collect Them Or Not
Aspect of the Crucible incantations:
This is a manifestation of the Erdtree's primal vital energies-an aspect of the primordial crucible, where all life was once blended together.
Seduction doesn’t have to be an affair. She could have been seduced by power.
‘Mother, wouldst thou lordship sanction in one so bereft of light?’ Maybe Mesmer was talking to HIS mother about Marika???
The shadow lands exist within the same location as the lands between, but veiled from being seen/interacted with. Fromsoft is actually not stranger to this concept, if you recall, the different nightmares in Bloodborne exist on top of each other and when in fishing hamlet you can look down and see the hunters nightmare. In the gameplay trailer it looked like the shadow realm was being veiled over. I think this is certainly factual now. We see the erdtree above the shadow tree, we’re looking up through the veil to see it!
42:46 lion dancers and their long dope ass capes
Aren't there two people in the lion dancer costumes? Hence having two spears, one for each person.
I had goosebumps all the way till the end, Miyazaki is getting another GOTY
The shot of Merika holding the grace looks a lot like the base of the erdtree when you enter for the final fight with radagon. Maybe the early erdtree was made entirely of corpses?
Mesmer is def inspired by Vlad the Impaler, he notoriously impaled the enemies that tried to invaded his kingdom, maybe Miquella is the invader and Mesmer the guardian. Miquella would do anything for what she wants so maybe she fell out of grace thus making Mesmer his adversary. And we are caught in the middle and probably being misled
The 37:50 item she removed may have been the guys soul, similar to Dung Eater. This is def the way the Erdtree took over the Crucible Era
That makes a lot of sense with the dung eater 😮
Ohheck, i think I understand what the opening of the trailer is, it feels obvious!
I think that it's a dead serpent. I think Marika is plucking it eye's (where grace is held). She has just killed it, the God of the Dragons, and taken it's Grace by plucking it's eye. The reason I think it's a serpent is because the chamber she strolls through looks like Rykards chambers, and the goopy flesh with little hands.
Plus in Norse mythology there is a great serpent that guards to roots of the World Tree, i think this is supposed to be an abstract representation of the new belief system (like Roman Catholicism) superseding older (Norse) beliefs by literally killing a God and becoming the next God.
Nha
Got an email from the official Elden Ring newsletter saying:
"Marika's Golden Order was birthed from Shadow.
Messmer's flame purged the Lands.
Miquella would abandon Grace in pursuit of something greater.
Will you walk with him?"
Miyazaki really dropped the story trailer on a random tuesday
The 39:04 pile of bodies is likely the foundation for the Erdtree - she used all of their runes and intertwined them to create the base of the tree itself maybe? Like fertilizer
IMMEDIATELY looked for this once I saw the trailer dropped a couple hours ago.
CONGRATS ON THE BABY, BROTHER
so much good news today
to the chatter, if they see it
What if Mesmer is the child of Radagon and the Gloam-Eyed Queen? Just a thought, but it sure as hell would be an interesting reveal.
It looks like they were talking about his fate, like his end. Seems like we will follow in his footsteps in the land of shadow and find out what became of that fate. I assume he is corrupted as a twist at the end and he left behind his followers (out of benevolence) who are now following blindly into oblivion out of dedication. Miquella is quite reminiscent of Marika. And although his motivations may be more pure, I think he fails to change the status quo and left behind vestiges of his attempts. I hope miquella is still alive and as he once was, but I have little faith that Miyazaki won't be playing my heartstrings like a fiddle. He made miquella the one ray of hope and good in a world of tragedy.
A visual of the Gloam-Eye Queen being 'burned'... we also know someone else who is burned, and bodiless... 🙃
I’m calling it: the “mother” that Messmer talks about is the Formless Mother. That explains the connection with Mohg.
Except he has no references to blood or bleed damage. Just fire and snakes and dragons.
@@theredknight9314 I’m thinking the fire is blood flame. It looks like many different kinda of flame but bloodflame + entrance in Mohg’s palace connects to Formless Mother, to me at least. We’re all just speculating here anyway.
@@DeriqueDeCoux could be, but they dont look the same
@@theredknight9314 yeah Messmer’s flame looks like a combination of many different flames. To me, mostly death’s flame & bloodflame, though. So it connects with death/shadow and formless mother imo.
@@theredknight9314yeah, that generally happens when someone adopts a school of magic and perverts it for their own use, right?
55:04 you're likely right here, great callout on the stitcher!
35:40 i might be tripping but that looks a lot like melina… maybe this was her usage as the first kindling?
thought: beginning is miquella after he left the "husk" in Mohg's boss arena (and the hand that takes you to the DLC since you are following miquella). he was cocooned before and shed something old into something young as is his "curse".
definite scorn (game) meets rykard arena look.
then we got some people impaled which...let's not forget the real life impaler...vlad aka dracul...aka the ultimate edge lord dracula however messmer's potential army reminds me more of spartan warriors.
45:59 in the same way his sister was fated to bring rot, he was fated to bring eternal rest. St Trina has always aligned to the Eternal Cities in my eyes, and I can't help but wonder how his fate [usually in relation to stars] could have been abandoned. Maybe this is why we find multiple Astel - one manifesting the abandoned fate of Miquella, similarly to Rannis Astel who we must defeat to send her forward.
Messmer casually pulling off a red. Shot too insane 🔥🔥🔥🔥
That shot at the beginning of (Marika) holding the strands between the corpse tree(s)... does the gap between the two giant corpse piles resemble the entrance to the Erdtree where we fight the last boss?
There are tons of reddish bodies protected by ants in both the Ainsel River and Deeproot Depths tunnels
The first shot of a hand pulling out of a body(?) immediately made me feel like i was about to see some sort of baby being pulled out
It looks like when all the NPCs are gathered, 1 is looking away while the rest are all looking in the same direction
( 42:33 ) possibly a form of briars? Outer gods usually have a flame association, the briars could have this dark flame. Maybe that also plays a role in what happened to the fire giants?
One of the new NPCs in the end of the clip has the outfit on from the beginning of the first trailer
What’s dripping from the tree looks similar to Marikas necklace
44:10 this is a cool ass point - I bet the crucible era tree used to sprout all the way up into the Lands Between, maybe there's something to be considered for the types of tree as well?
The very first scene looks like some garment or skin that is threaded (notice what looks like stitching around the opening) and the hand is pulling that golden thread out, causing the opening to tighten, like when you pull on the strings of a hoodie.
Edit - he mentioned this lol
This trailer gaves me chills 😭I watched it like 3 times back to back
One thing, while the thing in the beginning does resemble a 🐱 if you really look it seems like it’s a piece of cloth with something/someone inside of it, you can kind of see the stitching when the hand moves out its sorta like a cloth bag maybe idk.
If you pause it and zoom in there's actually a tie/sash thing coming from the top right I already tried to compare it to other known robes but can't find a match. It's also pale blue I believe. Someone else said it looks like a pregnant belly and now that I'm looking at it, it kinda does ..
If the lands between is "between" the lands of shadow AND something else.
I wonder if marika breaking the elden ring and doing whatever she did in the lands of shadow will start to connect.
Great video as always!
The way I understood it from " the affair from which the Gold is born... and so too was Shadow born" was that perhaps Godwyn the Golden had a sibling, who became a rival. It's not like Marika doesn't abandon her less than perfect children.. or her less than GW children, if you please, so perhaps this is the fate Mesmer suffered as well. Maybe she had him with the man on the picture on her way to godhood, to the throne of TLB... who knows.
The gloam eyed queen ( 41:42 ) could be this person since they were more closely aligned to the crucible era and the inevitable death that comes with natural life [I think], but something about it seems like it may be a character we haven't fully met / understand yet
Not seen anyone pointing out that the lands between must be between 2 things. One is the land of shadow but surely the other was the other planned DLC? The land of light maybe?
The golden strings at the beginning kinda look like threads? Maybe threads that the Godskins used to sew their garbs together that inherit some power of the gods they were taken from? The all over visual of the scene strongly suggests a womb and I do think it translates very well to the birthing moment of Marika's godhood, the birth of her Golden Order, followed by the actual implementation of her plan, wiping out everything related to her ascendency, so none could oppose it.
i wonder if those miquella runes are the new sites of grace
Without a doubt
The shot where Marika stands pulling the strings
It kinda resemebles the Door to Radagon/Erdtree
The funny thing is, a lot of people think messmer will be the final boss and the big vilain of the dlc... But messmer will be very important from the lore perspective but he will be the first major boss of the expansion (like artorias). The final boss of the dlc will be malenia/mogh/miquela. A six phase final boss.
I'm still hoping for Godwyn but it probably won't happen
Where tf are you finding 6 phase 😭😭
Gloam means shadows right maybe he was GEQ power/ consort and he got sealed away to land of shadow “gloom”?
Did Marika create the lands between (between those big body columns)?
okay here is my theory on the trailer, let me say im no expert on the lore. but i think marika had an affair with the king of the land of shadow to create Messmer, and he keeps the land under control. the woman we see with the cape on fire is the gloam eyed queen and she was the queen of that city. at the beginning i think marika is taking the golden grace from messmer to start the golden order somehow and uses all the bodies as a foundation for the erdtree and golden order. thats why the sky goes from gloam to golden at the start of trailer. the miquella stuff is more confusing imo, maybe the grace marika took from messmer was used to create miquella? thats why he is so kind and mesmmer is like the evil version? not sure. let me know what you all think.
46:52 it looks a lot like the threads Marika was pulling to form the tree, but not pulled taut
Seeing how many omens and aspects of the crucible are shown in the castle siege, I'm thinking this might be when Marika conquered Hoarah Loux's faction of Crucible worshippers and used their tree to birth the Erdtree?
When marika pull the gold essence out of a body I think it has to do with the Sacred Relic Sword cause of the sword’s description plus the elden beast was wielding it so there might be something there. It could explain the whereabouts of that sword cause the hammer we know about.
Also I think in the group at the end there’s 8 people and there’s 8 new weapon types. Maybe we get those after finishing their respective quests. And each weapon is specially designed for the bosses, there’s 10, assume 2 tutorial ones, then 8, maybe.
In the shot with the burning city and moving upwards to show the "shadow tree" it seems that everything is being pushed or swallowed by those golden branches, the same we see Marika (supposedly) holding in the beginning of the trailer.
Maybe the shadowlands have to burn in order to feed the Erdtree and Marika's reign on the other side?
A door has 2 sides right? What if the beginning is the “exit” from the Erdtree, the other side of where we enter? Possible explanation to the flash of light to mask the true interior?🤔
What if the person in the fire holding that coiled spear is Melina, and this war is why she's burned and bodiless. She said she was born at the foot of the erdtree, and maybe she is from the land of shadow, which might eventually become the foot of the erdtree.
I think she’s messmer like Markia and radagon. The both have closed eye and linked to a flame. Also, would explain why she doesn’t want a flame of frenzy.
what if Messmer is force feeding "a" tree. Mikala is the fruit or the Erdtree, and thus contains a seed, Diverging his flesh as fertilizer to bear new fruit just like he tried with the haligtree. Maybe trina was the original with messmer as her champion; mikala is an avatar/incarnation of trina, and now attempting a new incarnation
Crazy tinfoil time again... Marika pulled a Radagon switch like with Renalla (seduction, betrayal) and got GEQ pregnant w/ twins. One is messmer (snake dragon attributes like godskins, but a demigod). Other is Melina. Which is why both are unknown in the lands between.
Like Fia she was also gestating a rune balancing order(Radagon) and death (her) that she would use to start a new order. With the rune of death sealed and Marika the winner, she instead takes the remaining part of the rune in this scene (pure order, death removed) and forms the golden tree and order. She takes Messmer.
She then veils the lands and has Messmer purge everything representing the previous order. Melina is given a dying purpose from GEQ, her mom - burn the fake tree and instill death back to the lands between.
Honestly I think this would be the most straighttforward way to tie all these past events together...
Putting my tinfoil back to rest now...
On the region size: I fully expect we'll have another 'underground' section like the Rivers in base ER, doubling the siz of the DLC area effectively
It starts at 30:40
What if the city we see burning, is Leyndell's missing part? The one that the main path to the capital leads to and seems to have been 'erased' ? Maybe it was sent underground like Nokron and Nokstella.
I think Merka had Messmer purge the land of shadow to give her enough bodies to literally build the Erdtree, the shot of her between the two halves and the golden strands between them looks like she is pulling two halves together. Then later it looks like the city is literally feeding the new tree.
It wasn't Marika on those first two shots. It was Radagon. He had snake bracelets and pulled out the Elden Beast / Elden Ring out of the corpse of the past god (Gloam Eyed Queen). He used her just like he used Renalla.
Its not the gloam eyed queen because its already stated maleketh kills the gloam eyed queen because if her desire to become lord and so he seals destined death away so she cant kill gods.
no its definetly markia you can actually see her side boob when she raises her hands
He defeated her by sealing the rune I think, she got made a sword in my mind lol
@@theredknight9314 Ok, I am not sold on the Gloam Eyed Queen part, but I stand by the rest. The hair of the character who stole the Elden Ring looks red in the second scene and in the third scene it looks like he is not wearing any shirt. Both of those imply that it is Radagon. Marika was born when Radagon betrayed the past god.
Neither Marika or Radagon wear bracelets on their wrists though, they both wear them on their biceps so I'm not sure. (Correction thanks to fellow commenter: Marika does wear bracelets on her biceps AND wrists so I'm pretty convinced it's Marika presenting here.) I'm leaning towards Marika based on the leaner frame, Radagon is beefier unless they both are present in this form and their appearance fluctuates so the body is showing both of their traits. Like the golden hair appearing to become redder (could just be blood too). Ahh either way, I can't wait to know more!!
I think the woman’s voice in trailer is the female character in the screenshots they released a few days ago. The one that we saw in the dlc release trailer
As mesmee impales the dragon dance guy there looks to be 3 people impaled namely the 3 guys that formed that "dragon".
Maybe St Trina is his fate cause he as an imperian has another self like Marika /Radagon, and by abandoning her he is relinquishing his claim to godhood?
Hot take- Merika and Messmer are siblings, with Messmer being the first born. Marika pulled a "game of thrones" and stole his "birth rights" as the older sibling, then trapped him in the land of shadow. The mother he's talking to is either a character that hasn't been revealed, or he was speaking to his mother the way a person would speak to a family member at their grave. Metaphorical, so to speak.
Im siding with the gloam eyed queen, black flame tornado helped me get my only kill on the elden beast
Has anyone noticed the red tree on the helmets of Messmer's soldiers when they're taking that castle?
Also has anyone noticed Marika's bangle is very serpentine like? Perhaps a gift from the 'affair'. And also did anyone notice the shadows billowing out from her after pulling the light from that person's body?
The shadows you mention are her dress. Many long pieces come off of the back I believe that's that is pictures swirling around behind her in the statues of her as well.
Mesmers spear looks like mohg’s spear without the 2 outer prongs
WRT Miquella's rune/ symbol - the Egyptian Ankh was a symbol of divinity and transformation. Has some similarities. This reminds me of Haligtree/ Envoys/ heralding a new god/ Ascension.
@ 56:11 I think that is one of Mesmers'spears, you can see two others upright in the background on the right side. to me, it doesnt read like godskin weapons because of the scale, IMO they're too large.
The music is just fire
If you look at the scene from 52:29 from a distance, it looks like a sight of grace. I think the theory of Marika obtaining her godhood here is true.
Any correlation between the shadowy images of lyndell and the land of shadow? Like the land being the same but just, it's the shadow realm? Lol
I would like to once again reference to the post that I made when the initial DLC trailer came out. The great rune of The unborn is the same rune that we are now seeing referenced as miquella's. If you look at the rune Malenia had it is a mirrored version of the rune of The unborn just rotting away. But on the rune of The unborn, The spot where miquella's rune has a horizontal line going through it, you will see a gap a piece missing. I have no idea what this could mean but it's there.
This gon be Crazy
Maybe the city floating at the end is Farum Azula
I feel like the affair that brought forth gold has to be the affair of Radagon and Marika. Does that make Mesmer a by product of the affair physically or did he manifest as opposition to the new fundamentalist golden order? If the later, is he manifest from more split personas or the Primordial Crucible or something entirely it’s own? I’m so ready for all this new lore oh my godddd
The golden order existed before Radagon. Tineline doesn't match up. Marika had an affair with some unknown person we don't yet know of. Could be that bald guy from the first dlc trailer.
Am I crazy to think that the theme that starts playing after mesmer burns the city, sounds like the godskin theme
GIRL IN THE PAINTING LOOKS PREGNANT IN THE LAST TRAILER. COULD BE HER WOMB GETTING PULLED FROM.
Since there could be two people sharing one body (Miquella/ st. Trynna) and Messmer's flame looks a bit like a destined death's flame, could he have any connection with the actual gloam-eyed queen? Or maybe even Melina ? 😅
