that is not muffled... that is called DISTORTION. It's what a microphone does when you raise the Gain all the way up. For a condenser mic you should be about 12 inches away from the mic and you can always raise the Gain later in post or in your DAW but you cannot remove distortion when the Gain is all the way up.

I don't like hyping up products that suck. Most CZcamsrs get sent these items for free so they have no choice but to give the items favorable reviews. Otherwise sellers won't send them anything else. I love testing things out and showing everyone so they can see the pros and cons of the products that they may want to buy.

I mean.. i got this as a gift so.. i won't complain but i do agree it isn't the best product ever. Personally, this still is a decent product for the price.

They sell the pieces on Amazon and they also sell converters. I forgot where I saw it and what they called it, but look on Amazon. It's probably a few bucks.

Yes it will, but only if you don't have a phone case on it that prevents the plug from fitting into the C-Port. It couldn't fit in my phone port because I had a case on it.

In all my voice over videos with OBS, I recommend the AudioPro Mic. It is not a Shure or a Yeti, but I have absolutely no complaints with it and it is very affordable. Here it is with OBS voice over in action with the link to buy it under the video in the description box:
