Great content. This is an inspiration to those of us who do not have an army of followers or Lvl 100 friends who donate their time, items and gold so we can make top tier builds for Twitch or CZcams videos. You show that anyone who wants to put in the time and is willing to innovate can make great builds in D4. Thank you.
T7 is enough me personally,of course later we can farm the mythics and switch the build for t8 but as a casual player with 1-2 hours playtime every day...this build is doable and amazing!Ty for it!@@Lurkin17
In the time it took you to write this comment I killed 4 Uber Zirs and got a Mythic On a more serious note tho. It takes 1 day of leveling to reach 100, then run a few Hordes and get guaranteed GA drops while getting mats as well. Next day you've masterworked gear to level 12, following that you kill your seasons stash worth of Uber bosses and GG ur geared, uve played 3 days and you've got nothing else to look forward to for the next 3 and a half months. D4 has no real endgame if that said endgame is reached in 2 days. Every season they make a game mode that's either completely irrelevant (Gauntlet) or something possibly worse, some mode that makes the whole vast majority of everything else in game worthless (Hordes). Open world, subquests, dungeon affixes, Pit runs, helltide. Nothing even comes close to how rewarding Hordes are.
@@affirazer I feel like Blizzard is making its game upside down. They make content with sole purpose of getting gear, they don't make gear to take on content. Like, instead of making a game where getting a new power up enables taking on challenging content, they make a game with content made for getting power ups. Then what? Infernal hordes. I find this build works great with no Ubers, just need the amulet. You can get it going with lots of little variations in points and get farming tier 7. I've been running it with ice blades on the bar but I'm trying to understand better why most of the guides drop ice blades for fire shield. I also run frozen orb enchant though, I find I just get so many orbs out that my ice blades and spear are always available and I pretty much just spam those and ice armor non stop while face rolling around.
once you get enough attack speed ice blade on the bar isnt necessary and it can actually be detriment because it goes off so fast you are essentially at 5 ice blades iinstead of 6 because 1 is always spawning in lol

I have room temperature IQ so I'm probably missing something, but the skill tree in the video is different from the planner (IE - taking electrocution in video but not planner) So I was curious which is recommended on the poor man's diet version of this build. the choice is up to you. i personally use the MAIN Version. its the best. the others are just options because some people want to braiin dead use tal rasha and starless and not worry about rings
Shredding blades is better. I often use accel because it can feel more fun. But it gets very annoying with attack speed breakpoints and it’s a lot to explain. Even if you hit the breakpoints, shredding is better

for this build yes. that reduce cooldown thing isnt as important. obviously you will get less conj out, but this build doesnt hinge on that stat. thats why i like it
Can you explain the cd and damage? I have basically the exact same gear misus the greater aff gear and have been following it for awhile now. Level 100 and i feel so incredibly weak and cant get cdr from anything from basically whatever i do

depends what chest I am using. but teleport procs the damage for 5s. If i have snowveiled chest I have perma unstoppable for the damage and damage reduction
I'm currently running Chain Lightning - Emperor Palpatine (starter) but have really good tempers/gear minus the ubers. Without finding all new gear and retempering I wonder if respec'ing to this would be a bump up until I find everything over again. I have FW, Tibaults, Esu, and Tal Rasha... Thoughts?

Great build as always. For yours and Mekunas ultra endgame build are the MWcrits important. For getting there a hybrid FOrb-LightningSpear seems the way to go. Owning harle and can craft one mystic. What would you recommend Tyraels or starless?
I think the pure lightning spear build absolutely needs the right MWs for CDR etc. Seen multiple people say it's a real pain in the ass to gear. Might end up just running this instead of pure LS, masterworking is really doing me dirty😂
thats what ive been telling people. its a bitch to gear. i think iits something to work towards, but iin the meantime just run this. it shreds. obviously if you get all the right gear for spear you would swap to that because it is definitely BETTER
The build you show here is different than on Mobalytics (John Snow Tesla), you use warmth instead of Max life and a few other changes. Go with this or go with what you have on Moba?
Go with what I have on moba. I think I have warmth there? Idk I respec a few times a day and just throw together whatever gear I have I’ve done like 10 builds this season so my gear never matches the planner

Tried ball lightning but it was fairly underwhelming and not made for the horde mode at all..between charged bolts (possibly with lucion) and firebolts, which one is the better bosskiller? are meteor or blizzard gonna make any sort of comeback?
The starter version doesn't have Unstable Currents. Mistake? One of the rings tempers is Unstable Currents cooldown. This is the 4th version of a sorc build I'm trying while leveling up. It is so painful without winterglass. ugg. Ty for your builds tho'!

My fireball build on hardcore is 8/12 no Ubers and I can almost tackle tier 7 (hard to tell if I'm ready since I run duo a lot) I use temerity too so I'm sure swapping that for anything with Intelligence or maybe tibaults would be more dmg
no. its a frozen orb build. if you do a run with splintering, and then without (when you have good gear) you dont notiice a big difference. splintering is on the build because of the council bosses. there are 3, so you can splinter nuke them. you are scaling frozen orb damage and taking frozen orb ranks. its both. spear builds only cast spear and take frozen orb off the bar when geared enough

This is literally my build. That I made and pioneered in season 4. I simply swapped shredding blades on my gloves for splintering. lol. Fuck you talking about. This is a frozen orb first build. Splintering is a side piece. The build can play T8s without splinter

I get more Conj with this than I do spear with my current CDR. There is a tipping point on CDR where pure spear overtakes this and shoots miles and miles ahead of it

What’s cool too is, most people will end up doing T7s with this maybe? Which is honestly good enough!! You get plenty of neathiron and Stygian stones

This build definitely wants them, but not a requirement. It scales off attack speed not Cooldown

CDR on helmet, and focus!!! You really need to get your crit damage rolls and tempers too

Yes, definitely. Fireball puffs out around T8 with a 5 minute boss kill. Mt best frozen orb kill of those bosses is 45 seconds

Everything you listed is trash compared to spear.
Run plain chain, fireball, blizzard, ice shards, meteor, if you want to, it's your life
firebolt is a decent boss killer, but it kinda sucks mobbing unless you take shatter

Chain lightning sucks donkey nuts at bossing. Spear does all the damage
pure splintering is the best build, but it must have really good CDR rolls

Fireball can kill the trash even quicker sometimes, but the boss fight will take you ages.
fireball can clear T8. boss kill is 5 minutes tho. i forgot to have glass cannon on this so i was missing 18% damage as well
Ice shield has a massive bug that completely disregards its cooldown and lets you run, at times, damn near inifinitely.
What bug? Pretty sure sorcs are just spending enough mana or it's counting the axial conduit pants consumption
