Great tutorial! I may have missed it, but is this supposed to be tuned down a half step? At 7:31, an A5 chord is being shown (notated), but the video is showing a root note on the 4th fret. Thx!

Keep trying and try to relax the hand. It’s a very basic riff so you should be able to play it

Tabs is the system that we use to show the notes using numbers. A must for all guitarist that can’t read music notation
