I know you're probably not saying this with mean intentions, but that's actually kind of insulting to an actor. Especially one who tries to go as diverse as possible like Terry Crews. It's very clear that B99 Terry is a character but I think the reason why he's similar to real-life Terry is because not only was the character written directly with him in mind but he also made it his own with his immense charisma.
Terry Crews is when you max out Charisma and Strength on a character.

I met Terry in Universal Studios a few years back, I was there with my family and he was with his. My son wanted an autograph so I came up to Terry and asked. He said he was there with his family and was sorry and hoped I understood. I said of course, he shook my hand and couldn't have been more gracious. Watching this now made even more sense. Terry you're awesome and as an up-and-coming actor thanks for teaching me another lesson!

Like they will sit there and give you the breakdown of their workout/diet and it's the same energy that you get when someone is super into a fandom, it just hits differently because they are huge and buff.

Terry explained, in another video/interview similar to this one, that initially when on the movie set he was very disappointed for not being used enough (his character screen time, salary I guess) and when he asked "they" (production guys I guess) pushed back.
Terry got into a bad attitude. But he remembered a saying: There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way.
So he decided to then act as if he was paid $20 Million, being super enthusiastic and positive with everyone on set, and giving his all for just what he asked to do (a line here, a line there) on that film.
Sly started to notice, and then re-wrote the script, adding the tunnel scene where Terry's character saves Stallone's character.
Basically, Terry learned to be solution and not be the problem.

He hasn't actually clarified anything about that Instagram photo. I strongly believe it was just a matter of ignorance on his part to not know the chinese situation regarding human rights violations. I'm also 99% sure that he would be absolutely against the current political situation in China if its political situation were properly explained to him. I just barely got into Brooklyn 99 and I absolutely love it. It literally has everything I love in a tv show. Positive LGBT+ portrayal, murder/crime, mystery, humor, enjoyable characters, etc.

I was definitely looking for this, i though i heard it wrong or got them mixed up or something... the liees!
It's a wonder to see a man who has such a remarkable character. Built like a superhero, warm, family oriented, principled, transparent, kind, optimistic, generous and super-ultra-thankful. Terry doesn't focus his story on the disappointments and rejections even though there were many. His warmness is a signal even to the haters that everything will be ok. We just have to let go of our attachments, be brave, convince ourselves of an 'Alternative' outcome and be open as we move forwards. I think his version of manhood and humanity is incredibly powerful and one that we can reach. In life, the philosophy we believe in is incredibly important but living that philosophy and touching the lives of EVERYONE you meet is on another level.

Terry is so freaking popular in Brazil for doing White Chicks and Everybody Hates Chris because there's a TV channel that reprises it everyday, and WE LOVE IT SO MUCH. Sometimes I even call him Julius because of that, so nostalgic!

What I really learned in this interview is that Terry Crews has an awesome wife.

Terry Crews is so honest, open and vulnerable -- it's a huge part of his charisma! If you enjoyed this interview and haven't checked out his interview on Marc Maron's podcast I highly recommend it. Everyone needs to be able to talk about one's past the way Crews does. He discloses everything and all you want to do is buy him a round because he's so darn charming about it.
