People find God at protestant charismatic events etc then they are lead into the fulness of the truth eventually.
God can use any situation or place authentic or not to touch our hearts. Yet we are on a journey and must mature spiritually.
The messages of Fatima and Medugorje are very different. The 3rd secret of Fatima was not revealed in its entirety by the heirarchy because it would expose the truth about the Novus Ordo & it spoke about a Pope being controlled by Satan which wasn't something they felt comfortable releasing understandably. We do know the essence of what it speaks about thanks to several of those brave souls who had read it and although they never released it in its entirety due to the vow of secrecy they took, they let us know what the gist was and just like Our Lady of good success told us way back in the 1500's she pinpointed the 1960's, in fact Our lady specifically asked for the 3rd secret to be released in 1960! Because the 3rd secret spoke of Vatican II and the apostasy that would come as a result of it.
People say Medugorje must be true because Our Lady asks us to pray the rosary and fast etc
The devil is very very very cunning. He works in ways that are not obvious and it's in these times that he is most effective in his deceptions. He will give 99% truth and he will even take damage to his army in a strategic effort to either deceive many or to lead them into error.
Let me explain. Our Lady of Fatima (3rd secret unredacted version) Our Lady of good success, Our lady of Akita, Our lady of LaSallett, as well as prophecies from saints like Saint Padre Pio, Saint Francis of Assisi, Blessed Carherine Emmerich etc as well as Holy scripture ALL give the same or very similar message about these times. They speak of apostasy within the church, they speak of a doing away with the customs and traditions of the church (Vatican II/Novus Ordo) they speak of the Altars being replaced with tables, they speak of the last Pope or antipope being controlled by Satan, they speak of the passion of the church, of a counterfeit church, of profanation of the Eucharist, great compromise, that many Bishops and priests will be going to hell and leading many souls with them.
Medugorje unlike all these messages of our lady & prophecies of Saints & holy scripture itself does not speak of any of these things. In fact you could call Medugorje 'the novus ordo apparition'
Why would our lady cease to mention all these things that she was warning about for centuries and now when we're actually living in that time....the very time that she warned us about over and over... she all of a sudden doesn't mention any of it anymore!
In fact according to Medugorje everything is fine with the church, all the evil is outside of the church. This is false! It also leads many into believing the current novus ordo church is fine, and makes it more likely for people to fall into believing the heresies that are being promulgated.
On top of all this the so called seers of Medugorje lied multiple times. One of these lies was caught on camera and you can watch it yourself. And Our lady does not speak heresy yet according to medugorje our lady said God wills all religions! Also that the holiest person in medugorje was a Muslim! Heresy, lies. In fact its the same kind of false doctrine and heresy being promoted by Francis.
Medugorje is a diversion from the truth, a diabolical distraction that keeps millions of Catholics in delusion and distracts them from the true messages of our lady of Fatima and the authentic and church approved apparitions I mentioned above.
Literally everyone I know who defends "Pope" Francis and or who embraces modernism, ecumenism, who love the Novus Ordo all believe in Medugorje.

I know of a priest who was told that he had a vocation by a lady who turned out to be sketchy.
He is a very good priest, but he can't look critically at the lady's actions because it would make him doubt his own vocation.
I feel that it is the same way with the apparitions at Medjugorgie. Many people feel that they owe their belief to the apparitions, and so they won't look critically at them.
For me it is enough that a seer attributed heresy to the words of the Blessed Mother.
The Blessed Mother CANNOT utter heresy. Therefore the apparitions are false.

I had the wonderful opportunity to speak with a late Bishop of a Diocese in Atlantic Canada who had visited Medjugorje. Hetold me that he had gone to Medjugorje because many in his Diocese had visited this site and he felt he would not be able to talk with him unless he, himself, had gone to experience this site. While the Bishop noted that he found Medjugorje to be a very prayerful place, however, he said as for the apparitions of our Blessed Lady, the late Bishop said if you look back at Fatima or at Akita or any other certified apparitions, in Medjugorje this Bishop said very clearly: Our Blessed Lady talks too much.

    • @edgar_roca
      @edgar_roca Před měsícem +1

It's not that our Lady talks too much, she has been talking to a lot of visionaries for centuries, and to mystics, look at the mystical city of God by venerable Mary of Agreda, I think it is 4 books of revelations by our Blessed Mother about her life--in own her words. So it's not that our Lady talks too much in Medjugorje for the first time, it's not the first time. It's just that the messages have been made public as they have been given. I went to Medjugorje on two occasions, and you can feel the presence of Our Lady there. I believe the Ruini comission said that the first apparitions were likely true, but that the later ones not. I don't know to be honest, but I did have a special experience during confession there. I think something magnificent is happening there because in that town every family prays the rosary every day. Impossible for Our Lady not to be in a place where every family prays the Rosary daily. Also there is a statue of Jesus that exudes water miraculously. How do you explain that? Those are points in favor of Medjugorje. My advice to you is to go yourself and experience it.

Not impressed with Medjugorje. The seers are not in the least, exemplary, or behave as such. Neither am I impressed with those whose emotions or feelings have led to conversions. As a former Buddhist, I was quite familiar with Buddhists who made pilgrimages to Buddhist shrines, and would hear similar stories of cathartic experiences, that would change people who had led dark lives to a 360 degree turn for the better. Are these experiences based in truth? Beyond that, some of the messages of Medjugorje clearly contain statements which run contradictory to Church teachings. For that, I relegate this to one of high suspicion and high doubt. Fatima is much more real, more Catholic, more pressing and extremely urgent. It has been exhaustingly and thoroughly researched enough to withstand the arrows and slings of doubt.

@@nathaliemerheb7399You're making stuff up now. Please be truthful. Have you read the message because that is not what was said. What was said is
"Members of all faiths are equal before God. God rules over each faith just like a sovereign over his kingdom. In the world"
The messages of Fatima and Medugorje are very different. Also the 3rd secret was not revealed in its entirety but we do know the essence of what it speaks about thanks to several of those who have read it.

That the seers make money from this is a definite problem. Not one became a religious.. imagine seeing the Blessed Virgin every day, you would never stop praying, the world would become totally insignificant to you.
I always thought the seers were just great deceivers, but now I believe it’s diabolical. The mass disobedience, the attitude of believers when their belief is questioned, that no supposed secrets have been revealed, but seriously, I had to laugh when the main seer, the one who has our Blessed Mother on speed dial, decided that the visits would be ceasing just when covid became a threat 🤦‍♀️. I’m sure Our Lady wasn’t scared of covid, and surely someone with a direct line to Heaven wouldn’t be either! 😂😂
I feel really upset and angry actually that people are really being taken advantage of here. Many don’t know their faith, aren’t really interested in the important aspects, but rather prefer excitement and drama..
I went to Lourdes because I was desperate for healing, and I did not get what I desired, but I don’t think at the time, I was spiritually mature enough anyway. I had so many vices I didn’t even see in myself, so I understand that people want a quick fix for their illnesses or worries, or to deepen their faith, but this place is only going to make the church look bad when it is revealed that millions of pilgrims spent millions of dollars and loads of time and effort, on a scam 😢. And many whose faith is built on sand, will sadly lose it.. men of little faith who have become priests have been converted there, and they credit the site more than the Grace of God.
We know God is with us, especially when many are gathered, and praying, and the same graces and ‘miracles’ can happen anywhere with faith.

Somehow, I started praying the rosary and the Blessed Mother of GOD on the other hand started teaching me that there was 'that thing called grace' by drawing me towards unknown places like the Holy Tabernacle etc. After being a practicing catholic for twelve years now, She's still at it. But She always kept silent whenever it came to Medjugorje. This silence seems to concur with H.E. Bishop Schneider's - whom I dearly revere - and the Holy See's prudence. A group of people from my church had an organized trip to Medjugorje for spring 2020. The time for the trip was set by the seer based on her supernatural insight. The group left the USA but could'n reach the destination because of the international disruption caused by the pandemic. My question to these people was "Why Our Blessed Mother said that you should come at that time? Did she not know that you could not reach Medjugorje? What kind of mother will make you cross Europe for nothing? " Unfortunately, they still think the seer is authentic.

Shortly after I heard Med's association with the 'charismatic' business and a priest saying how 100's of 'charismatic clergy ' were going to meet at Med. Hmm...
St Bernadette was summoned by some people at the time of the Lourdes Apparition to a certain area where a 14 year old boy was acting very peculiar, claiming he saw 'Our Lady'.

Many of these apparitions go much deeper than a single denomination or "religion" can even conceive. We cannot help but look at these apparitions from a very "myopic" perspective, because of our human limitations.None of us can see what could be called "heavens perspective". One author who tried to decode the events of Fatima said that it was a warning for the Popes and world leaders to stop at all costs what we are seeing now unfold in the Middle east, because soon it could easily lead to WW3 and the unfolding of the prophesy of Zechariah 13, verse 8,9.

As we saw in the 1998 Vatican CDF statement on Medjugorje, the present local bishop's personal stance against Medjugorje is not the official position of the Church, and therefore it is most legitimate for a member of the Church to have personal belief in Medjugorje's authenticity until the Church completes its final evaluation. This permission, once again, is granted by the authoritative teaching of the Holy See and the former Yugoslavian Bishops’ 1991 statement. The permission to personally believe in Medjugorje would of course include any of the Franciscan priests in Medjugorje who choose to give their own personal assent to the apparitions. To claim, therefore, that some Franciscan priests are acting in “disobedience” to the local bishop because some may believe in Medjugorje would be a misunderstanding of the official Vatican and ex-Yugoslavian bishops’ statement which makes provision within the lines of full Church obedience for personal belief in the apparitions. The unofficial, personally negative opinion of the local bishop does not bind any member of his diocese or Catholic individual elsewhere to follow his own personal opinion. Beyond the issue of belief in Medjugorje's authenticity, there is not a single documented account of any direct act of disobedience to a canonically legitimate directive from the local bishop by the Franciscan priests at St. James Parish. Although there have been tensions historically between the local ordinary and the Franciscan Order of this region regarding issues such as parish assignments and custodianship, these issues are entirely irrelevant to the present issue of obedience to the local bishop by the Franciscans at St. James Parish. Technically speaking, if there had been some acts of disobedience by the local Franciscans, as gravely wrong as this would be in itself, it would not necessarily in itself discount the possibility of authentic apparitions from the Blessed Virgin Mary to the six visionaries. Only with an individual priest who had an immediate relation or effect on the visionaries, for example as a spiritual director, could an issue of disobedience play a relevant role in the discernment of the apparitions themselves. An appropriate Church investigation examines the issue of authenticity based on the moral integrity of the visionaries themselves along with other legitimate intrinsic criteria, and not upon those who may be only geographically close to the reported event. Moreover, any reports of disobedience to the bishop by Franciscan priests from surrounding parishes should immediately be ruled out as irrelevant, just as it would be inappropriate to accuse a priest from a particular parish of wrongdoing or disobedience based upon a report of inappropriateness or disobedience concerning another parish priest from his surrounding area or diocese.

@@joannevos6321With all due respect youre being naive. Satan will give 99% truth and he will even take a hit to either deceive many or to lead them into error.
Why would our lady cease to mention all these things that she was warning about for centuries and now when we're actually living in that time that she warned us about she all of a sudden doesn't mention any of it?

There are now hundreds of these messages, with nothing significant emerging. The visionaries take the message to the priest before they are released. One of the visionaries, the elder male Ivan, got Mary’s permission to move to America for more lucrative work, but still experiences the apparitions messages there. So the story goes. A very important thing that was overlooked by Bishop Schneider (who I think is fantastic) in his otherwise interesting comparison with Germany: the church HAS spoken clearly many times on Medugorje (against it), namely from the mouths of two very orthodox (and very Marian!!) Bishops of Mostar, who both also wrote very clearly and meticulously on the subject. The latter of the two was a particularly sound Bishop in my experience, very pastoral and patient. People need to understand the local situation there (disobedient Franciscans vs diocese). Having an apostolic administrator there from Rome undermines the authority of the church under the local bishop (sound familiar?!). Kennedy, the local Catholics ref to our lady as Gospa (which is a bit like saying our lady) and she supposedly appeared under the title queen of peace (kraljica Mira), which is a well established title (e.g. in the litany). @anakalbo I'm interested to know about traditional mass in Mostar, can you tell more about where/when/who offers it, etc please? The apparitions began when I was 14 years old, and I remember my aunt, cousins, and grandmother believing it from Day 1. The whole thing just seemed odd and a little off to me, even at that age. Fast forward 42 years to today, and I do not believe the alleged apparitions are from Our Lady. Two years ago my sister gave me a Rosary that had belonged to my now deceased grandmother. I didn’t look at it carefully, but began praying my daily Rosary with it. And immediately I began to have very dark, disturbing, realistic dreams. After a week of this, I picked up the Rosary and took a closer look at the medal attached to find it was an image of “the gospa” and had the word Medjugorje on it. I connected the dots to my dreams, immediately doused the Rosary in holy water, destroyed it and disposed of it. The horrid dreams immediately ceased.

I had a similar experience with a Rosary of that sort written Medejgorje on it, only the whole experience was up a notch.
It was a Demonic Speaker 🔊 effect from backside of the Head behind me, I touched immediately at the Gate of the my Parish Church and ceased to exist, which left a Burning smell. Later I returned home and had Sleep Paralysis, all in one Day.
But I have emphasise I was in a State of Mortal Sin the whole time, at that period of time, yet trying to get my life together. I told everyone close to me about it yet no one believed me or my case it was also not looking good for me at physical state after the Sleep paralysis state physically and mentally both ways I was exhausted and mostly afraid a lot, anxious sleepless nights and short sleep with an arrhythmic heartbeat at some points of life.
I am quite understandably skeptical, yet when I see and read about all who are meditating on the Mysteries of the Holy Rosary, receiving healings and the people taking part in valid Sacraments and even going to the the Holy Mass daily there at this Centre. I am all the more disturbed and baffled. How can Evil and Good Exist together?
As During Holy Mass and other Sacraments Devil can to an extent resist but by what power does it now attack Our Lady Blessed Virgin Mary and Most Holy Rosary? As Our Mother Mary and the Sin can not stay together at place, as written by St Louis de Montfort (paraphrasing). How can this be taking place for over a Decade?
That's all I can say on this delicate issue yet mind it currently it being supported by much of clergy members all around the world thus this conversation
Peace of Jesus Christ be with you all!🙏🏼✝️
      Ave Maria!

I have been to Medugorje several times in the 2000's.
The messages of Fatima and Medugorje are very different. It's important to note that the 3rd secret was not revealed in its entirety... but we do know the essence of what it speaks about thanks to several of those who have read it.
In 1981one of the medugorje messages was
"Members of all faiths are equal before God. God rules over each faith just like a sovereign over his kingdom. In the world" HERESY!
Also that the holiest person in medugorje was a MUSLIM...More Heresy....lies.

The person responsible for investigating an alleged supernatural event is the Bishop of the diocese. That is his responsibility. Both bishops in the diocese where Medjugojje I is located have declared that there is NO evidence for any supernatural event. They essentially declare that any claim that Mary was appearing, had absolutely no evidence, and it was false. There was also a study from Rome that also made the same findings. So in the end, we have that everyone who had the authority to investigate, and to make a declaration coming to the same conclusion, which is that there is no evidence for any supernatural event at Medjugorje. At one time, one of the bishops declared that faithful Catholics SHOULD NOT make a pilgrimage to Medjugorje because it was giving credence to something that was false. The “seers” have all become wealthy due to their “visions”. The Franciscans there have been blatantly disobedient to legitimate authority. My parents also go there regularly. I only started to question all this when I started attending TLM and saw how critical the traditionalists are about Medjugorje. I read the book by Donal Foley (recommend it!) and came to the conclusion that nothing happening in MG was worth risking going there. MG adds nothing that I can't have in my hometown. Still, it pains me that my family is so uncritical about it. I wouldn't dare to say that it's surely false, because I don't want to offend our lady, if she really appeared there. But something definitely went wrong. In these demonic times we should be extra careful with so called apparitions. I would like to think that God calls in unique ways. To think that someone's calling is going to mirror your own maybe an oversight on your part. Jesus did walk the planet, yet even he didn't draw all to him. Many Christians today seem to think they would have felt that tug then. I doubt it. Even his disciples questioned him and didn't always have faith. So, I suspect it is the same now. Some things are there for us to hear while some are not. Your discernment of things is just that. I suspect that God in his time and place will let you know if you were around for other calls, but didn't have the aptitude to listen. It is your deal if you choose to say it is real or not. I will refrain from doing that. To those who it is and draws them closer to God, it is what they needed. For those who didn't or don't, their call will be something else.

A Commission on Medjugorje, established in 2010 by Pope Benedict XVI and chaired by Cardinal Camillo Ruini, voted 13-1 to CONFIRM the SUPERNATURAL ORIGIN of the first seven occurrences of the apparition. In addition, Commission members also voted to turning the town's parish Church of St. James into a PONTIFICAL SHRINE under HOLY SEE oversight. No other Church is under the direct auspices of the Roman Catholic Church, acting as its Archdioceses.
ST. JOHN PAUL personally believed in Medjugorje and spoke highly about it with Bishops and priests, stating: MARY’S COMING TO MEDJUGORJE WAS AN ANSWER TO HIS PRAYERS. Medjugorje is the continuation and extension of Fatima. He also stated during his Pontificate, if he were not Pope, he would have been a priest at Medjugorje, the Confessional of the World.
Reference: Medjugorje in St. John Paul’s Own Words & The DEEP Connections between St. John Paul, Medjugorje and Fatima
BASED on everyone’s individual spiritual development of Faith, over 30 million pilgrims/people have traveled to Medjugorje. Whether they are searching for a visible sign, as in a rosary bead transforming or a spinning-pulsating sun, a miraculous healing, a sincere journey of FAITH, because a friend or family member “dragged” them there, or simply out of curiosity, Everyone experiences a MIRACLE either physically, emotionally, or spiritually; AND in some cases ALL THREE. For factual accounts of miracles and testimonies of spiritual conversion to a life of FAITH, watch the Fruit of Medjugorje at MaryTV.tv/fruit-of-medjugorje/
To travel to Medjugorje is NO accident, it is an invitation for continued FAITH formation and our life long journey of conversion. Our GOD has blessed us with our Heavenly Mother Mary’s Apparitions throughout history. Reference: The Many Face of Mary, a Love Story by Bob and Penny Lord for Roman Catholic Church approved Marian Apparitions.
When one questions the apparitions, whether one has traveled there or not, let that be the seed GOD planted to further join HIM in your journey of FAITH, and sincerely ask GOD to guide you to find the answer in HIS TRUTH thru the Holy Spirit. We are all fallible and sinners, who knowingly or unknowingly, can misquote information. In keeping with the Virgin Mary and HER messages, especially at Medjugorje, SHE asks us to PRAY for ALL Priests; clearly, this includes Bishop Schneider.
With an Immaculate Heart, the Virgin Mary comes as our Heavenly Mother to reunite us with JESUS and HIS PEACE. Divisiveness, hatred, and evil are NOT the fruits we bear, if we earnestly seek to walk with our GOD guided by the Holy Spirit in the Holy Gifts of Wisdom and Knowledge. When we pray, we are instantly in direct conversation with GOD. (This has been proven scientifically as Dr. Vincent Fortanasce, noted USC neurologist, who found a part in the brain only activates and illuminates during prayer.) GOD answers ALL prayers; it is my prayer HE responds to anyone seeking answers to our Heavenly Mother Mary’s Apparitions at Medjugorje. (As a counselor, I can honestly say we are never brief. “+”)

Many people talk of the “good fruits” in Medjugorje, but what about the bad ones?
For example, how about the nuns who have gone to Medjugorje, and there they “discovered” that being a nun was not their true vocation, and have abandoned the convent or their religious house in pursuit of a “different vocation”…? And how about the innumerable disobediences to the bishops of Mostar since the beginning of the alleged apparitions?
We need to remember that the devil can disguise himself as an angel of light. We’ll always walk in a secure path if we are obedient to the Church, to the bishop who has the authority of discernment in this case, and we all know that no bishop of Mostar has approved these alleged apparitions, in fact, quite the opposite.

Hi Kennedy, very interesting video on a controversial topic. As a girl I was fascinated by the apparitions of Medjugorie, I was happy that the Blessed Virgin appeared during my life, passing the years I realized that these apparitions were born in a particular political context, the Virgin speaks of everything and continuously, her speeches are impregnated with political correctness, it is an ecumenical message hers, According to these messages, Muslims or Catholics both possess the truth... I then read several articles by researchers who over the years have followed the Medjugorie phenomenon that affirm how the first apparitions, those that should be more truthful, had all the elements of a demonic apparition. I honestly wonder why the Blessed Virgin should appear for more than 40 years to say things all in all trivial, which anyone with a little good will could say ... And let's not talk about the secrets... even 10 secrets and then some different for each seer .... Is it possible that from this daily contact with the Blessed Virgin none of the visionaries felt the desire to consecrate themselves? All married? Marriage is a blessing but religious consecration is something more. What about their economic affairs linked to the uninterrupted flow of pilgrims? I do not know, I only say my opinion, but for me there is nothing supernatural in Medjugorie, indeed, a true exorcist should work on it.

As for the 10 Secrets and the visionaries, NO ONE has said the secrets are different, because they have NOT BEEN REVEALED! ONLY Mirjana, the visionary, will be allowed to reveal them via a priest. READ UP on what Mirjana has factually stated regarding their appointed time and manner of revelation.
ALL Saints and visionaries throughout time are always met with small minded scrutiny and criticism: their economic standing, their position in life, etc. Judge NOT, less you condemn yourself in the process. BOTH SACRAMENTS: Holy Orders (life as a religious) and Matrimony are part of the 7 Catholic Sacraments. Only GOD is the JUST JUDGE of their merits as well as the souls chosen and assigned to them.
It is cynical to degrade the HOLY VIRGIN MARY’S messages at Medjugorje and nothing short of ignorance. Try reading: The Deep Connections Between St. John Paul, Medjugorje and Fatima.
Really, a little research and education is all you need and REVERENCE. Read up on the facts, and not speculation, regarding the Catholic Approved Apparitions and the HOLY VIRGIN MARY’S messages, their profound impact for each age and SPECIFIC time will astound you at their RELEVANCE. GOD has Gracefully Blessed us by ALLOWING the Apparitions over time, including at MEDJUGORJE, to navigate the challenges we face today and most importantly living in FAITH. The HOLY VIRGIN MARY is anointed by GOD. It is with HER Immaculate Heart of a Mother, SHE comes to us!

@@essiecortor9835 We are not required to adhere to any of the Mary apparitions, even those approved by the Church. It is a devotion that speaks to specific people only, and some speak more loudly than others. Any problems/challenges with the other apparitions to my knowledge were resolved relatively quickly, and the seers led very holy lives, died young, or had religious vocations for example. I began with thinking this was from God, but over time I've changed. You said that we are degrading Mary, but I disagree and think it's the seers themselves who over time have been degradig any possible message Mary might have initially given to them. Many are enabling them to continue, and this saddens me no end. There are atheists, agnostics, other religions, and most importantly fallen away Catholics who use this as an example of our supposedly 'superstitous" faith to denigrate all of us. DON’T thank me. I have nothing to do with your chosen ignorance of the Roman Catholic Faith. You alone must bear the weight of your error and pride! The fact you are solely basing your decision on your ability to “think it through” without scientific in-depth research and factual knowledge is egotistical at best . Of course, the Holy Church does NOT force anyone to believe; God has given us ALL FREE WILL. However, the day will come, and is fast approaching, when you will see for yourself with the indisputable facts given by GOD regarding our Heavenly Mother Mary’s apparitions, including Medjugorje, and you will finally come to the realization it is TRUE. The visionaries have undergone many psychological and scientific tests examinations resulting in the authenticity of the apparitions. Devotions are NOT “superstition” and meant for “some”, as you have arrogantly stated! Medjugorje as well as ALL other approved Roman Catholic Church apparitions are part of our MYSTICAL FAITH and have factually occurred throughout our Roman Catholic History. They are meant for ALL. FYI GOD IS MYSTICAL “+”. Your ignorance regarding our Faith is ASTOUNDING. Yoou aren't even a confessor so stop your judging! You ignore free will, which God granted all of us, and our ability to think anything through with His help - as with discernment. You want to prove your case "scientifically" and say there are psychological reports and "scientific examinations", as if you stating them makes it so-but don't list any so we could check on your statements . I haven't seen or read of any, when they were completed and how often they are updated. Then you resort to 'mystical' for further proof, which is very different. You do know that God speaks to us in different ways. If these were authentic and there were no questions, it would have already been accepted or be close to being accepted. You are propounding this with anger and threats for something not yet approved. That tells me and others more about your level of maturity in our faith than I care to know. I agree with one thing you said about Satan, but your arrogance applying all of that to me is a lie and is egregious. That's as far as I'll go. I also pray for you on your journey.

Even before I understood anything about approved apparitions, I had my doubts. It also concerned me that her five daily stones to defeat Satan didn’t include the obligatory mass. 🤔

I beg to differ. I was very active in prolife work before Medjugorje. I met a woman our last trip to Medjugorje that was part of the group 40 days for life in California passing out prolife pins. My husband and I came back from Medjugorje the first time and restarted Daily Adoration in our small rural parish. Our last trip I felt called to become a Eucharistic Minister to our shut-ins. When we went the first time, I thought I was just checking Medjugorje off my list. Even tacked it onto our Holy Land pilgrimage to save money. I prayed on that short 3 day stay that if Our Lady had anything to convey to me that I was open. It wasn't until we got home that Her gift came to me. An AMAZING feeling beyond anything I had ever experienced before...I knew it could only be a taste of Heaven. My faith has never been stronger. One of the visionaries' mission is to pray for all those who do not know God's love yet, a beautiful prayer intention that is way up there in my prayer list. There are so many in the world that fit in that category in today's world. 😢 It is so sad to me that there are so many opinions against Medjugorje from people that have not been there with an open heart and leaving all expectations aside. Our Lady has gifted all those willing to listen to her last directive in the New Testament "Do whatever He tells you." Experiencing the deep faith of so many pilgrims in Medjugorje is such a profound blessing. Worshipping together, there is nothing like it anywhere else that I have experienced! You can't help but come back saddened to see the lackadaisical participation in Holy Mass in one's own parishes. It has you praying for those in your own parish (for those that do not know God's love yet). Our Lady, Queen of Peace, pray for us!

I went to Medjugorje and realized the holiness of the place is due to the number of confessions heard and the number of masses said there. Maranatha 🙏🌹🕊✝🛐

Anyone truly striving to live a Catholic life doesn’t need the “Medjugorje message”. I opt not to believe it. Also, considering the “weird stuff” I hear about it I am afraid there could be a chance that this is a demonic event. Imagine when those “10 secrets” are revealed? Many of the people that today believe this is a true supernatural event will believe those secrets without considering whether the dogma of the faith is being contradicted

Also consider the Vatican has approved the first several visions of the Madonna as authentic and supernatural in origin.
It's an ongoing investigation as the apparitions are ongoing.
For the Vatican to come out with this rendering before an official investigation into all the interview s or message is by itself remarkable.

@@xtraordinairartist9469The messages of Fatima and Medugorje are very different. Also the 3rd secret was not revealed in its entirety but we do know the essence of what it speaks about thanks to several of those who have read it.

So many people say the proof is in the pudding, that the fruits of the "apparitions" are innumerable conversions, return to the Sacraments, etc.
This area is filled to overflowing with pilgrims in prayer, practicing pennances, attending Confession, the Holy Mass, and the graces from these practices have called down enormous graces from Heaven. You can "cut the feeling of grace there with a knife, it's so heavy". Anywhere there is authentic prayer, devotions, repentance, etc., it produces extreme grace. Not from false so-called visits from our Blessed Mother. The number of visits ti the "visionaries" is somewhere around 50,000. In which the idol said all religions are equal, the holiest person in the area was a non-Christian Muslim woman. So many, many more reasons to keep away from this place.

It's ridiculous to believe that just because a mass of people went to alleged sites of 'marian apparitions ' means that they would be approved in the future.
