When my daughter was born in 1980 her aunt gifted her this bag. My 2nd daughter and my granddaughter also received one as a birth gift It became a family tradition. In the early eighties I remember women using it as a pool bag for small essentials. I have an original triangle side one also Thanks for all the ideas.

It really is amazing the amount of stuff the mini will hold. That’s one reason why I love it. Initially, I used a vachetta cross body strap. Then, I found a monogram strap for it, I like even more.

I had no idea of the scale until you held it up next to your mini pochette in the other video! It seems so small but fits a surprising amount! It’s so cute!! I like it best with the Vachetta strap and the small tassel. That Vachetta pouch is cute, I saw it earlier this week on another channel but it was sold out when I looked for it. Will check again!

Yota is so high maintenance! It looks so tiny when compared with the mini pochette and with the speedy 30. Let us know whether you end up using it more as a handbag or as an slg (not that you will necessarily know for awhile). It does hold more than it looks like it would. Another great video Autumn! xoxo

I agree 100% about the vachetta. It's supposed to age and get darker and show marks as it's used. LV Knows this and that's why it was chosen for their bags.
Hi Autumn, quick question for you. Have you received your darker patina strap and if so, how does it compare in color to the honey patina? I have this same bag with the patina being very similar to yours. Trying to decide between the two colors and would love to get your opinion on which color is closer to an aged vachetta. Oh WOW! I just learned the one I bought on the second hand market is the original. Yay! Thanks for the info. :-) One of the handles needs to be repaired, but got it for a steal. $130.00 plus tax. :-o Definitely older, darker vintage look. But I love it!

I have one mini speedy mine is from 1996 and it looks like new it was pass on to me by my mom and it was barely used I did take the bag to Luis because the slider leather was a little worn and they replaced for $30 and registered the repair under my name under my profile incase in the future I want to make more repairs. When I took the bag in the sale associate didn’t know how to read the date code. The date code it’s in the inside it says made in France and it looks like new but she didn’t know how to read it I had to teach her then she took the bag to someone else to confirm what I was telling her. Sometimes u wonder how they can work there and not no ow how to read the date code.
Haha! Affirm yesssssss. You can even get a temporary credit card to checkout on sites that aren’t Affirm friendly. I have 1 payment left on my last thing! Yesssssssssss. Loving that mini! Affirm allows me to “hide” the purchase from the husband. 😂

Can someone help me please- I found one and bought it. The one I bought seems to look smaller than all the videos I’ve watched. It has the code TH0994. I didn’t seem to find any that date back to that so that makes me think it isn’t real? It looks and feels authentic but I really am not sure now. What else can authenticate this other then going to the store
You may want to watch my video czcams.com/video/tecaDlr6s58/video.html about the different versions of this bag. I talk about sizes, date codes, and the differences between models. If you have one with that date code then it's what I call the "updated" model which I found made from 1991-2014 (and possibly earlier). Yours was made in 1994, well within that range.
LV will never authenticate bags. Try Proauthenticators on FB. Also it should be fine. I just bought a mini speedy. It is from December 1991.
Follow-up: So NellieZ on etsy says the small vachetta "kiragami" pochette with the key chain is only available in the UK, which makes me wonder how it was sent to you (here in the US) with your recent order?? The set of 3 IS available in the US, but the small one doesn't have the key chain. :(

If I were you, I'd be very worried about "that Yota"! She's imitating you --- right down to dying her hair your color! Don't tell her I told you.
The problem with using this bag as a catch-all is that the opening is so small you have to take everything out to find what you're looking for. I still say it's a perfect bag for Roxie; it would easily hold a toy and a few treats! And please don't engage in a text exchange with Yota while filming. It's like a friend putting you on hold to talk to a different friend.
