Combining different Formable Slavic Nations videos into one series was a great idea
Thankyou!
I wanted to do them all eventually anyway, so saves me doing all of these, then starting from nothing to try do slavia haha
@@SnapStrategy what happened to south Slavia?
Also the peasant family?
@@Mr_Godmodesouth Slavia only combines kingdoms
@@Mr_Godmode South Slavia merges all of the south slavic kingdoms into one.
@@AlsoSunsteel did he do it or bypass is because he had all the kingdoms? Also good pfp I appreciate sealand
"How many levels of border gore are you on?"
"I dunno, five, six?"
"You are like little child. Watch this: B N I A."
O S
When you warred with Bohemia it was for the Duchy, whereas Bavaria were going after the Kingdom, meaning that you technically weren’t going after the same claim even though your claim was 90% of the land they were going after. I’m a bit of a noob at this so I could be wrong though
Bohemia still had the Kingdom Ttitel wich bavaria atacked; the war between them should have been goining on afterwards
Maybe it was a difference of holy war and normal war.
It is probably because the Holy War is after the lands(counties) while Bavaria was after the title(kingdom of Bohemia).
Without the counties, there is no title to conquer while the new owner of the counties didn't have the title
Okay so what happened is that Bavaria was going for kingdom while he was going for duchy.
Since bohemia had land outside of the duchy that was still dejure kingdom, the war was still going vs them once duchy was gone.
which one would win: few gopniks on horses or the combined forces of the entire christendom?
that finland is looking mighty beautiful as well.
IM LITERALLY SCREAMING INSIDE WHEN YOU MERGE MAN-AT-ARMS WITH HOLY ORDER BEFORE THEY ARE EVEN RAISED AND THEN LOSE A FIGHT
You might like to know, you make my cardio a lot more entertaining in the gym 😜. Perfect video length 🤭
Thats awesome haha! i do try to make them as short as possible ngl, they just seem to always end up this length lmao!
@@SnapStrategy KEEP EM LONG! Please!
Pursuit will turn routed casualties into slain casualties in the final "retreat" stage of the battle, after it has already been concluded. Every 6 points of Pursuit will kill 1 routed casualty, while every 3 points of Screen will prevent 1 death.
It's definitely the high pursuit you're getting from all your cavalry that is allowing you to inflict such massive casualties. I've never seen it so effective as when you defended that crusade. That was insane. Fantastic series BTW
not the horse archers are killing the most people in the pursuit. The konni light cavalry with the 60'ish pursuit are making the stack wipes. building hunting grounds with this men at arms is just brutal. strongest men at arms in the whole game. stronger than heavy cavalry or war elephants in my opinion..
It is interesting that Swedish Pomerenia was thing in 1640s and AI tries to replicate it on game . I hope one day we will see an Austurian kingdom every game
Of course Paradox would go out of their way to make Sweden replicate their real history, smh.
@@Ludovicus1769 I hopr one they make me able to genocide Muslims as Central Asian Turks and raise Baghdad to the ground. (Also Central Asian Hordes are way too op)
As much as it would be funny, it's just the case that Sweden in viking age starts as pretty much a kingdom already, so they are pretty strong early. Combine that with all vasals having a free conquest cb and that happens pretty much every game with viking age starting date.
I just found your channel 2 weeks ago and I'm blown away by the dedication you put into your videos. You have inspired me to begin to mod ck3 and create my own stories like you. Thank you and keep up the videos!!
finally waited long for this
Crusades are much easier to defeat than should be the case numerically. If you were facing a well coordinated set of stacks then winnning against those numbers is pretty impossible, but as you saw, they were a buch of tiny armies with no real coordination. They pile onto bda fights and get crushed every time you move to a new province.
Of course if you're too small those numbers are still overwhelming, but you have a large army that hits so hard that pure attrition can't really win it for them.
It is the Konnie that is bulldosing enemy armies. Strongest men-at-arms in the game, by far
39:16 haha you're like Lichtenstein during the Austro-Prussian War of 1866 (except much much larger!) went to war with 80 men, returned with 81, they made a friend.
Serbs: *TRIGGERED*
Thanks, I really like these multi-part series. Gives me something to watch on my break :)
This series has been fantastic. I am inspired to do this myself when the tours dlc comes out. Slavia has to be a great place to do a grand tour
Tbh catholic crusades have like a 80% chance of winning. I almost always create a new religion if I’m in catholic lands now.
I love this series of videos being back to back
You are my fav ck3 CZcamsr, thank you for all your work and amazing content, you deserve more subs!
Another great one mate! Nice work
in my experience crusades are pretty managable. they all trickle in one by one, so you can destroy their higher total troop count in little pieces instead of all at once
love your montages man, theyre great
Also, as a bit of advice for anyone wanting to farm piety for a reformation/heresy, (Edit: Assuming you are King-Emperor tier and have the Court position available) you can take on a court position of high almoner, which grants even more scaling piety.
I really appreciate your videos, and I'm really impressed how easy it seems when you play😅
Me over here at 8 am Tuesday watching this and hearing him say it'll be out Tuesday and frantically searching his channel for it 😭😂. Keep up the great work 👍
Making your own faith and sticking with Pluralist is the biggest L you can make if your intent is conquest.
It seemed like he was mostly using the conquest CB anyway
42:51 "And for some reason the Byzantines want to buy a truce with us, no idea why."
Also him: *Owns half of the damn continent*
Your videos just make my day better
I was wondering, how you are gonna pull the "rest" of Slavia in one video. Glad you didnt. More entertainment for us.
Nice one
Sooo, are we gonna have a similar series with forming the Kalmar Union ?
This is good... really good mate!
Great job
what a coincidence i played uniting the slaves lately and also picked my custom religion with the "S" Logo xD
Yeah, with that bohemian duke being as inept as he was, I’d drink myself to death too >.>”
Amaizing AF! I wish i can play like that 😮
Really would love to see a playthrough as a vassal to the pope or Venice (republic) and growing them as big as possible
omg that crusade win was so epic and unexpected
YES!
With the right buildings Horse Archers can have such insane pursuit that I took on the Mongols with just 5 stacks of them
Thanks for expanding my country😊
39:12 LMAO It says your deaths are -249. Does this mean the enemies deserted to your army or something? 🤣🤣
Honestly, defending against a Crusade is always worth the gamble because you just might win. I was once able to defend my Asatru England against an army twice my size because they had the recently disembarked penalty.
Byzantium: I fear nothing... but that Bosnia is frightening!
12:38 The reason the war ended was because they were fighting for a Kingdom Title while you were fighting for a Duchy Title
A great way to help characters in war is to gift them loads of money even if your not getting the opinion bonus from it
Brooooo I've been waiting
Yeah, its pursuit that kills of retreating armies.
34:06 - curious, I personally like to play as grandkids provided the traits are decent, especially if I live long enough that my kids are old when they inherit, just because playing as the grandkids tends to be better from the mixture of opinion of predecessor compensating for short reign combined with the ability to play as a single ruler for longer, which is almost always better.
My stupid 'trick' when I hand out hooks is to instantly give them a break on levies on their contract because them getting guaranteed council rights is the worst thing they could do, and who cares about what small amount you end up losing in levies.
I didn't know that pursuit is this op
"We managed to not take much attrition"
At least 7000 troops lost
37:38 Crusade
Another BELTER of a video. You always seem so on top of everything thats happening! I would've needed a change of underwear when that crusade struck!
Can you do another series like this?
We slavic are everywhere I mean everywhere 😳
Yea crusades definetly look hard. But I too defeated a few against me while I was trying to make the Roman Empire. The armies run around and so if you catch the right army at the right time your chances will improve
Title of Grandgrampa😆😆
what mod are you using that it is showing up like an orange color?
As a Bosniak i support
Also invasion CBs grant you all the land you seige. Even if it's not part of the dejure kingdom. So when I do them I will just keep going past 100% and get all the land I want from them in one go
You wanna avoid 100% warscore before you get all the land you want, because even if you don't enforce demands the AI will surrender not long after anyway. That's why I always seige all the land *outside* the war target first, with one or two small sieges inside the war target to counter the ticking warscore in the enemy's favor
Gosh,I did this for funnies after seeing you do it and I really hate how Unite the South Slavs creates a mega Kingdom instead of an Empire. Also, if you do this successfully as you have prepare for an awkward ending.
Any chance you could give a zoroastrian persia a go?
What's the song at the beginning?
I heard Franks were Bosnians in disguise
35:52 Balthazar Gelt?
Maybe your soldiers made some friends with the enemy during the crusade and brought them back home after a battle
Lore of Uniting the WEST SLAVS was CHAOS - CK3 Empire of Slavia momentum 100
How like how you’re allying with Lithuania. It’s like forming the polish Lithuanian commonwealth early instead Poland is subjugating Lithuania.
How tf did Pomerania take Denmark? They’re usually super weak in 1066 and 867. I’ve played Poland a few times never seen that happen. 20:12
Ah yes, the karlings doing what karlings do best, give us the absolute ugliest borders possible
It was painfull. Good game.
Can you create a playlist for this serie.
20:30 Watching you combine your holy order with your men-at-arms was soooo painful. because you combined them before the men-at-arms were actually gathered it ended up stopping them from gathering, resulting in fighting with just the holy order. it was the same with the Duchy war on Polabia. so please wait for your men-at-arms to finish gathering before combining them
Danece
Can you please make a croatian empire in ck3
What is wrong with norway? 23:00
Haestinn could do it in one lifetime.
Why are you making people with 11 martial marshals? 😂
I hate how vassals care not for border gore.
Does anyone ever pick quarrelsome when creating a culture? I like it, but it makes you clan government.(or it did last time I played)
I hate that uniting the Western Slavs no longer creates Big Poland. They’re always trying to nerf us Poles 😔
Imagine the shitposting if Serbia United the slavs though
The gretest video ever!!!
ermh ... "Poland seems the weakest" ... "I like Hungary" ... what is this? WW2?
12:25 - the war was invalidated, since you declared a conquest war, and Bavaria declared for the Title of Kingdom of Bohemia, and since you destroyed the Kingdom of Bohemia upon winning, Bavaria's war was invalidated, even tho IRL that would not remotely fly, you gotta love Ck3's mechanics, they are such a meme.
Divine right let’s you push multiple claims, rightful ownership let’s you push multiple de jure claims of a title like an empire. I don’t remember which tech lets you push multiple claims of other people.
Joe biden
Shouldn't you make a Slavic religion for the Slavs? Like, from the Pagan Slavic faith. It's a challenge, and a hassle, but it would make more sense.
SLAV UNITY AND POWER BUT ALWAYS UNDER THE CROSS ✝️
