- Several months ago the #BDTeam spun a globe and got on a flight to Vietnam in less than 24 hours. With them was Alex Adrian Lopez Rios who captured the trip from above with an FPV Drone.
Vietnam is a traveler’s dream. Ride a scooter along the busy streets of Hanoi, try paragliding in Hoành Bồ, sleep on a traditional boat on Hạ Long Bay, and experience the beautiful culture that this country offers.
The #BDTeam recommends taking an overnight journey to one of Vietnam’s most impressive natural sights - Ban Gioc Waterfall. The falls occur on the Quay Son River, a beautiful jade-blue body of water flowing from China through a pastoral landscape of rice fields and bamboo groves surrounded by limestone pinnacles.
Another very unique experience was cruising along Ha Long Bay. With 3,000 limestone and dolomite islets sprinkled over an area of 1,500 square kilometers, Ha Long Bay offers a wonderland of karst topography. In recognition of this, in 1994, Ha Long Bay was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
If you travel to the northernmost region of Vietnam, you will find Ha Giang. A remote destination that has been open to tourism for only a few years. The region boasts nature as you’ve never seen it. Massive limestone walls, granite outcrops everywhere, hanging valleys, rice terraces climbing to the clouds, and winding roads carved into the mountainsides. This alone sounds like a great adventure, but combined with the ubiquitous presence of the local hill tribes-mostly proud Black Hmong-this experience is a "must-do" on any Vietnam itinerary.

So true, my family moved to America. And they like their job so much that they don't want to quarantined at home, they are hard working
Reasons to visit Vietnam:
-Very delicious and cheap food and you can find them at a street
-very friendly people
- Beautiful places to go
- There are many taxi so you could called them
- Late night opening
- very fun to go out during the night and you can still go to a coffee shop because it's still open
- coffee are great, Vietnamese iced coffee and Vietnamese egg coffee are very famous
- Vietnamese love children, and don't get too uncomfortable if they stare at you. Probably because they see you are tall(Asians are mostly short) and they might see you look beautiful. They see you as speak perfect English,tall, and most lightly actractive 😏
Things you might not familiar but is normal in Vietnam:
- motorbikes (not like in America) are the most common vehicles and seems almost impossible to cross the street but just wait until red lights (not like America) and hold your hand up to show that your crossing the street and look left to right
- cheap items, glasses are very cheap here probably around $99 dollars are the most pricey.And food are also cheap, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have high quality, just be careful of what you eat
- you can't ride a motorcycle because you don't have a license, and you must wear a helmet if you want to travel but can still see the outside
- different time, in Hue: Morning is probably around afternoon or night in Oregon (not where I live here but I know thru experience) and lunch is like middle of a night and afternoon is early morning in Oregon and Late night in Hue is morning/noon for Oregon
- You might experience a really hot summer even the heat isn't as bad as Arizona but you will get sweat from the heat and winter is probably kinda cold depends where you visit
- robery( is kinda common) but just be careful with your money and other important things
As a Vietnamese, I know a lot of differences I found when I'm in Vietnam and in America
But hey some of my friends think Asians as: Chinese/Japanese or maybe Korean, eat rice, using chopsticks, and smart
Ps : be careful when you walk around the streets, it can be full of poop and smelly strashs.

I met a lot of Russian tourist in Nha Trang city, i know it is the favourist destination of Russian tourist in Vietnam. This beautiful beach is in Khanh Hoa province where has Cam Ranh bay. Biggest southeast Asian Submarine port is located here with 6 Kilos type from Russia. And look far the sea, oil drilling rig is lighting all night to prove good coperation in business of 2 nations. Friendship between Vietnam with former CCCP and now Russia will be long live.

While we have an abundance of natural resources that we can tap into and share with the world, we are still currently not as internationally recognised as our neighbours, Thailand, The Philippines, or Indonesia. The best way for Vietnam to match this is to invest in telling and sharing our own visual stories of our country. This must be a concerted effort amongst the tourism board, hotel chains, local brands, etc. We've got what it takes. We're just not doing it right. And so, I'm all out supporting projects like these - fusing a modern story-telling approach with visual and social-first digital content. Would love to work with you and the team on something magical for Vietnam in the near future! 🙏🌄

@@EddieInkedSkin Make friend with your taxi drivers in Da Nang. They have a way to buy the cable car tickets in advance and can drive you there very early.
Don’t go there on the weekends or the holidays. Do go in weekdays, preferably very early in the morning to avoid the crowds.
