The skaters are good but the camera operator is outstanding.
davekingpt the camera operators of skating videos are like the smoothest camera operators i feel like
that downhill cruise inbetween all those people walking was so fun to watch
yeah, had to play it over and over again
You kids are crazy as hell, but I love you for this.
I spent most of the first half of my life in NYC and much of that on the subway. Mad props to everyone associated with this video, especially the videographer. I don't know if you all can appreciate that he had to be right there with every one of those skateboarders while keeping the shot composed and watching where he was going at the same time! I bet he cracked his head more than once.
This is beautiful and everyone should see it.
Dat platform transfer :-|
This gets me beyond hyped for living in NYC next year.
This is sick, how come that cops didnt appear at some part of the video?
Either do it really late or know the patrol patterns of a given station
I can't believe it! *InstaPhamous. COM*
Josh Nyc is my favorite city to skate in bro i go there every year homie!
punk
That third rail jump gave you dudes a sick amount of publicity! All over my damn facebook about how "unsafe" it is.
Keep ridin fellas!
What the gap?
Beautiful. I really needed that today. Thank you so much for being freedom.
I almost shed a tear.
This looks so visually stunning. I don't know how you pulled it off without getting caught by the authorities.
That ender was unbelievable, he could've died if he hit the 3rd rail
Love the retro look and vibe. They make the tricks look so steezy and simple.
Man a lot of people have tried this.. but this unreal.. so much balls
I bought the dvd, it is so sick. Buy it! Support independent skate vids like this because they are brilliant.
THIS VIDEO IS BEYOND AMAZING, the gyms that captured and edited MAD RESPECT!!!!
The pedestrians seemed pretty chill about what was going on
they've seen crazier shit..
Skate Invaders nyers have the ballingest day every day,
Having waited for NYC subway trains for years, that ollie at the end absolutely blew my mind.
that gap at the end from platform to platform was gold , top stuff and some set of balls , 3rd rail dodging skills too .
This film is incredible on all levels. Well fucking done.
This is too good.
That was so fucking rad blew my head right off
Awesome stunts, very professional movements, added to our Talented People Channel 2.

Sick, y'all. Nice Bay Area reference at the end @ 2:57

At least they were having fun on Go Skateboarding Day. I was (and still am) recovering from an ankle injury.
That's a seriously primitive subway system they have in NYC if the voltage from the rail can kill you... I'm from Vancouver and you won't die if you fall on the tracks, there's even been situations where people try to commit suicide by getting ran over by the Skytrain, but most of the time they get rescued before it happens, and the voltage does nothing to them...
It was built in the 1800s so yep, it's still got some primitive aspects.
I don't know, all I know is that i've actually seen with my eyes people in the tracks before, and have heard of it multiple times.
(Last time i've actually seen someone in the tracks was years ago, but someone I know is a security guard and they've gotten calls from the police about people being in the tracks)
TheShayRetards I know a multitude of graffiti writers who paint subway systems and I can tell you that whilst touching the third rail can kill you it mostly leaves you with a fairly extensive burn.
In most subway systems made mid 20th century they operate by a third electric rail the silver shiny normal track is fine is the black unmarked real that's the killer, it's not primitive is the reason why monorails and other higher grade rail systems exist they just run on top of the electric rail instead of alongside it

I am impressed! ;-)

SICKSICKMUSIC
the most intense 3 minutes of my life
Colin how did you manage to get into the conductor's car to film that last clip?
Hacks
Omg I almost shat brix on 2:29 when he almost touched that third rail :ooo
@Bill Strobeck 👀👀🍵🍵 THIS is how you film a subway gap ender
👆👆
nice....
@colin Read can i get a link for RUSH HOUR ??? its one of my fav edits ever and its gone. i wont share it anywhere i just wanna watch it again
Thats so crazy, how did they not get in any trouble?
I searched ollie over railroad crossing and this did not disappoint.
...I think i want to start skating again.
2:30 damn so lucky nearly touch the third rail!!
2:39 had me like whaaaaaaaat this kid crazzy.... I probably would eat dirt if I tried that
I wanna see you skate on the 3rd rail if you're so good.
wowie
Was that background track made just for this video? Rode the DC Metro this week and this video was the first thing that came to mind.
its an exclusive track by Jacob Ireland. Made specifically for the video. soundcloud.com/jacobireland/subwaytrack-tengu
that's awesome, thanks.
i did an ollie in skate 3 once
this was cool and all but i don't like what they did at the end when they were inside the conductors station and messing with knobs/levers. For all we know that could have been the door controls and someone could have been leaning on the doors (i always do that, until the train has stopped and i know its about to open).
Damnnnnn
Skate everything except that 3rd Rail!
Anyone know what those red and white new balances were?
where can I buy a print of the railroad track Ollie????
You can buy one here: store.43magazine.com/product/koki-loaiza-ollie-pigment-print-225-425
Colin Read thx for the info.
I have a suspicion that Colin will be getting a visit from the NYPD very soon.
How come the trains are so empty?
whats the name of that beat in the background ? PLZ REPLY ME
