Great play by Shaw on the last rack, it's great to see such great shots played in a competition game. The only thing I saw lacking was a simple hand shake or at least a fist bump after the match. This is a common practice in a casual play, why not at this level I wonder?
I was fortunate enough to have met her some years ago. She's a class act, a very nice lady, and, of course, a wonderful world champion player. She's my all-time favorite woman player.

@@philb8186 with as skilled as these pros are, I would think he would have a better chance of making contact with the one ball kicking off of the long rail and either making the one or possibly a good defense. I'm just an amateur. Figured I'd ask. Thanks for responding.

Commentators as annoying as usual, 4:21, Thorpe went for a bank and missed it, commentator said it was a nice safety shot? Bullshit, if the one went in the two ball was a straight shot down the rail, hate the way they hype the shots up
@@huntervincek1324 I just think he played a poor shot and got away with it, the 1 ball was pretty much lined up with the centre pocket, if he played to the pocket he potted the ball but he hit that ball so thin it pushed it onto the rail and he got away with it.
Billy is so dependable. I hope I see him in this year’s Mosconi Cup.

They usually do in most matches, maybe just the fact that it is teams, and many of them are sitting back behind the barrier? Just a guess.

The fake crowd noise is borderline intolerable. Why do pool matches always have some kind of annoyance with the sound? Maybe it's just me, I'm tired.

Eh, could’ve definitely been a two way shot. He knows that the one stays behind the 3/8 if he misses.
