But despite him being in offensive position he can be insane defensively aswell and you gotta admit he is way better in attaking than Gavi. So in terms of their role you cant compare their defensive or ofensive stats by default you can only compare them in def and att in relation to their positions and for a Cam he is way better in defending that the average Cam, so cant really take 'Gavi is better at defending' as an argument when comparing both players.

I don’t watch barca games more than once a month or so, but are these the best clips of Gavi??? Absolutely hilarious that people think he’s better than Bellingham or musiala. Looks like a very promising youngster but Barcelona need someone to believe in and this kid is just way over hyped. Half these highlights are standard passes or crosses, cute first touch controls. But very few impressive dribbles, way less creative than musiala and less helpful defensively than Bellingham. I don’t get what people are smoking to believe this is the best young player in the world right now
He had much better highlights the season before where he got rewarded for as the Golden Boy, he was really a damn master at times for his age in that midfield and his defensive ability, reselience is much better. This boy is the complete package. And before you speak about skillset or “standard crosses” remember that this young man was only 17 years old of age and look at the effect his breakthrough had on both the Barca team and Spain. Bellingham and Musiala may have deserved it a tiny bit over Pedri before last season (although Pedri is a maestro now) and I’m sure they’ll get their chances next season but this was legit Gavi’s first ever season in a professional team and his debut, unlike Musiala and Jude. There are alot of things that are not only associated with fancy skills and showboating.
Overrated because he has a classy touch. He DOESN'T break lines.

Musiala is more like a attacking midfilder while gavi is pure cm. People call them good when they make goals and assist, they're people who only watch highlights and clips. Understanding how the team play also important. For team that play possession, back pass are important. Team that parking bus are the boring one imo. But in this case musiala play at bayern, they play press high as long as i knew. Then moved to camavinga, another different position player with team that have different kind of play as well. Compare player with different style, position, club ideas all are wrong. As long they play good football at club they're willing to and playing important role it's good.
