Try to dip the wick in water if it is removable. If after that also it doesn’t work, put a small ball of cotton inside and then put the wick. This trick helped me once my diffuser stopped working
There is a 4 hr auto shut. Every 4 hr it will stop. If it stopes before that than may be there is some issue. Try changing the water and reinserting the wick

No no. It’s already there in the machine. Opening the wick from the machine takes a little pressure

When you get the new device only that time you need to soak for 5 to 10 minutes. After that you can use normal until its time to change the wick
