Marko or Baby Lasagne doesn't have a big team...he doesn't pay bookies...he doesn't pay for painting...there is no one to present him, but he has 4 million Croatian hearts...he has 2 months of incredible stories...big fights and he is the winner. ..he is the winner on the day when he stood on stage 2 months ago and sang his song for the first time... he sings for his country... he sings for all nomads, refugees, migrants, emigrants, he sings for every person who wants to hear him... May 11 it doesn't matter, what matters is the huge amount of love he caused...Marko, you entered the history of Eurovision and showed how the impossible becomes possible...

Baby Lasagna is a very talented artist, improving every single day, on every performance giving his best to his audience... Unfortunately, he doesn't have a big team behind, but he made a great impact and he is going to leave a big mark on ESC 2024. Go Marko go, you can and you deserve to win, Croatia is proud of you, you are our star ⭐! 🇭🇷❤️🔝
Before the party is over! 💖

+1 for Armenia and Greece. I think they're pretty overrated.
My winner is Norway 🙃

It's not che City Boys the problem with Croatia but the jury and the people who value genuine musical talent - as a showman Marko has been fantastic and a master of self promotion and advertising...but musically? 4 patterns put together in 5 minutes.
Sad to see Nemo so low - as you learned to appreciated Angelina you should give Switzerland a second chance and more listenings - in my opinion it's the most creative ESC's entry EVER!
Nemo is not low on my top. It's in my top 10 which means that I love that song, too. It's all about preferences. I just prefer rock upbeat song and I also understand that many don't like that but it doesn't mean that the song is bad, just not for everyone.
Also, saying that Marko isn't talented just because he doesn't have voice for opera halls is just boring. He is a musician who plays multiple musical instruments and makes his own music all by himself. The fact that you don't like this kind of music (or particular song) doesn't make him less talented.
How does that talent from BL compare with the others? Here's where the jury has to make a decision - I did study music (Jazz and Popular musicianship) and play a few instruments (traditional and electronic) - if I had to copy Nemo's or Angelina's song I need to plan well ahead and spend a lot of time to figure it out because those songs while very interesting are also very complex. Rim Tim...is just too basic to attact the jury's vote - the live version of that other song from BL is just 3 chords...even punk sounded more sophisticated - in a way BL is the punk of the bunch - good luck to him in a way because he's still good fun to watch - but a BL's victory wouldn't be good for the jury's reputation nor for Eurovision in the long term.
@@stefanogortaldi3156 I agree that they have to take care of the quality of the songs (although they had some weird choices in previous years) but they also have to consider which song is a potential hit song (after all, juries are minority here compared to hundreds of thousands of voters around the world and despite of that they have equal part in deciding knowing that they could be biased or influenced by different factors).
To me, as an amateur, that studious complexity in music doesn't mean much, to me it's more important what I feel when I hear the song. Music exists to make people feel better and not to please the experts. Besides, how can something liked by thousands or even millions of people be considered as bad (this is not about Rim tim.. now, it's something that makes me wonder for years 🙈)
Whoever wins will be well deserved winner and it'll probably be somebody who will get many votes from both sides. Will BL win? Probably won't. Would he be a bad winner? Absolutely not. Just unconventional one. 😊
@@barraesc For me Lordi was an example of a "bad" winner - I didn't like it and I love rock and post punk/industrial. The only reason Finland won was because there was no rock competitors. The ESC management took notice and since then the voting system has been changed to try to prevent another "Lordi's accident". The many votes for BL are rock voters spread all over Europe - it's a bit unfair in a competition born as a melodic singing contest.
@@stefanogortaldi3156 I don't think that's unfair. It's a song contest so every genre should be welcomed. Sometimes the winners will be rockers like Lordi or Maneskin, sometimes old esc romantics like Sobral and most of the years we will have some mainstream hits. Music has changed a lot since 1950s when it all started so esc had to change, too.
Also, it's impossible to please everybody.
Norway is the only one with real winner vibes for me. Croatia comes right after that.
Armenia is very overrated. Rhythm is good, but the lyrics are effectively just "la la la"
