Hello. Great update ! Really love mine. The only gripe I have with it ... the lack of a third micro adjustment. Glide lock would have been nice. But a third hole or halflinks would not have cost a lot more to do ...
i love my tudor bronze on the fabric strap, tempted to get this one as well.
Bought a Black Bay leather yesterday...and loving it, was considering Grand Seiko Snowflake and BlackBay , ended up getting the black bay :) because the aesthetic and the price
Just subscribed! Love the content!!
I second your accuracy claim; mine's just as accurate! Great review man... On fabric it's simply fun.

Nice 👍 thank you, regards from England 🏴
You're a really nice dude, nice video, loved the review of this awesome watch
I've worn mine for around 5yrs, and I love it.
@liam_7017 I broke the pip at some point, but running like a Swiss watch.
My Tudor black bay steel is my special occasions watch.
It doesn't get a lot of wrist time, but when I wear it I love it.
My two, soon to be 3 Seiko 6309-7040s get most of my wrist time.
Excellent watch taste, we have almost the same exact watches. Thanks for checking in!
Fantastic watch. I really like the Tudor Black Bay and Black Bay GMT. The case finishing, coin bezel, crown, and dial are great. At first I didn’t care for the handset but it grew on me. The size for me is perfect at 41mm.
Hi Christian, thanks for checking in and agreed on the handset. Have you noticed that they crown on the Black Bay GMT is a little different that the Black Bay I reviewed here?
I own both watches ( BB Black and GMT) and I'm delighted with the two. Yes, the crown is a little different on the GMT, I noticed that.
Absolutely love this watch and have owned this for around a year and a half. Have you noticed part of the black Tudor rose insert on the crown coming out? Part of mine seems to have done which is strange.
People with baby wrists don’t like the watch because they say it’s to tall. I have it and it fits perfect
All the reviews I see have their BB with the new movement accuracy at minus 2 or 3 a day. Is this true for every BB? I would rather have a watch run fast than slow.
Hi. I was able to find a pre-owned BB79230N in good condition for around $2,300 while a brand new BB58 here costs $3,660 with a wait time of 6-12 months. Should I wait for the BB58 or should I jump on the Bb79230N? Thanks
My Tudor was about + 2 secs a week at first now six months later - 1 sec in three months.
love my tudor bb, only problem with it is it sits too high. looking at grand seiko spring drive for next watch
I was actually thinking of going for the 58 but the gilt bezel, as well as the lack of stock in all ADs have put me off. I am seriously considering buying the larger black bay. Would you have gotten the 58 instead if you had a choice?
The gilt bezel bothers me as well, so probably not. Tough call though
Much better than your last review where you kept clearing your throat into the microphone. As far as accuracy, it is either COSC standard or not, not some arbitrary weekly estimate.
Can i find a rolex day, date under 2k. Also what are your thoughts for the steinhart 39 gmt
Awesome watch .
I love mine but the Seiko Sumo is hogging all the wrist time now.
Interesting, how is the Sumo doing? I really liked the one I tested but the alignment issues bothered me.
Just Watch , the sumo runs perfect . It is very accurate and the alignment is perfect . Maybe I was lucky.
The watch seems thick, what did you think?
It's about the same on the wrist as a Seiko Turtle, not a problem at all. It looks taller off the wrist because of the tall case sides than it actually wears.
why do the hands of the watch look green at the beginning of the video
@@JustWatchreviews I was wondering why it magically changed colors 😂
love my BB👍👌
Totally agree that Tudor somehow intentionally sabotages its watch so they are never quite as good as they could be, or perhaps as good as Rolex. Just looked at the new Tudor GMT. Nice, but the dial colour is a strange kind of grey, not quite black and I don't really like it. Why did they put snowflake hands on the Tudor 58. Because with mercedes hands it would be a better looking watch than the Submariner.
I own a Tudor BB GMT and the dial is black. Not grey. Not strange. You may have viewed it in strange lighting conditions. I like the square hands. I see no reason to advertise for Mercedes.
@@gbtriumph3216 The Tudor BB GMT is a nice watch. My problem is I am partial to vintage. Thanks for the reply. You are lucky to have that watch and enjoy it.
Or a tudor under 2k
As a Rolex Submariner owner I wanted something different and slightly cheaper to wear every day. So I bought a 79230N online after reading and watching many positive reviews. When it arrived I had instant buyers remorse. It looks very thick on the wrist, it's quite top heavy if you have slim wrists. It's slab sided and the rehaut is very deep - odd considering it has a domed crystal. The bracelet is noisy and feels tacky with the 'fake' rivets on the sides. In my opinion the vintage feel is spoiled by the shiny gold hands which really stand out when they catch the light. They look very bling. Also on my watch the 9 o'clock hour marker wasn't quite straight which drove me crazy.
It looks great on a Nato strap but a good quality strap will add almost 2mm to the watch height which makes it unwearable. The weight sits very high and you are conscious of catching the watch on door casings and walls etc. This watch looks and wears best on a leather strap but for durability and versatility I really wanted to use it on the steel bracelet.
If you like the aesthetic of this I would recommend going for the ETA version. It's slightly thinner and has some subtle differences on the dial. Ok you lose the 70hr power reserve but who needs that anyway on a time only watch? It takes a few seconds to set the time and wind it. I think the Black Bay is a worthwhile entry level luxury watch, but if you are used to Rolex quality and design, I don't think you'll be totally satisfied. I have nothing against Tudor, I actually swapped it for a Pelagos which as the same amazing snowflake hands, a superior bracelet and clasp, and a proper tool watch feel, rather than faux vintage.
You sure ain`t getting it used for $2,600 used these days. I just bought a 2019 model from Crown & Caliber & payed $3,250 with box & papers
Yah, it’s crazy how much Tudor and Rolex prices have jumped since COVID
3 seconds per week? Mine is about +30s per week =(
Geez, I'd bring it to your local watchmaker. No way it should be running that fast.
Love my Tudor black bay on its steel bracelet with black face its a beautiful piece brings alot of joy
