Awesome video, my Polk has just arrived today, all set up now and is great for £250 GBP. You can really hear the sound above you and the bass is really nice for the money. All thanks to your great review Thank you
@@scott1506 if you are watching a movie that has a lot of explosions, gun fire etc and actors are speaking, you can just use the vocal button to increase the volume/clarity of voice. Works really well. For TV shows there is no need to use this and the sound of voices is very clear

@@Upscaled_HT why not spend a couple more hundred for a Bose sound bar system 899 is alot for a sound bar and sub when you can get a Bose for like 5 hundred more open box
I have a question. I’m using LGCX with this sound bar. If I turn on earc on the tv and watch Netflix, I can only get blue light (atmos movies) or white light not green light (Dolby movie). If I turn off earc on the tv, I can get the green light for the same Dolby movie which I got white light for. Not sure why this is happening. I thought earc is better than arc? I’m not sure which is correct but now I turned off earc. Also for ps5, if I turn on earc, I can never get green light for games. All white light. Is this also happening for you? If so would like your advise. Thanks.

Good review! Looking for a Soundbar for my brother to buy, think this is it. How'd you run the speaker wire under the floor to the rear speakers in your family room? I'm assuming you did that before the floor was laid down? Your setup is my dream haha. You gotta soundproof the movie room!

What about hearing the dialogue? I heard a lot of talk about sound, but I want a sound bar that helps hearing the dialogue in a tv show or movie. I read some other reviews on this sound bar and they said that was the weak part of this device.
can anyone clarify, will it play normal 5.1 properly too? Manual says it can do 'virtual atmos' using eARC. I only have Arc, not eArc. It still sounds great. But i'm only seeing green light so i assume that's no Atmos at all.

I just purchased this sound bar, bass is amazing but i do wish that I could adjust the treble, bc it sounds a bit muffled, the audio is not so clear. Is it just my sound bar? Should i exchange it? Or does anyone else feel the same?

Great review! I'm debating on getting the Signa S4 or the Vizio M51ax-J6 which is a 5.1 system but doesn't have true Dolby Atmos. The Signa S4 also seems to have a bigger subwoofer. Just trying to figure out if the extra 2 speakers will beat an actual Atmos speaker system. Any suggestion? Thanks!
If you can, consider waiting for a bar with side surrounds and upward firing speakers goes on sale. If not, I might go with Polk since you would be able to stream Atmos content.

Unfortunately, the Polk always plays with all speakers via ARC and Bluetooth, so no pure stereo possible with music.

You need eArc to be able to hear Atmos.

My understanding is that it up mixes all non atmos content to work with the up firing speakers.

Get the Polk, no doubt. I have the Signa S4 and also the S2 in my bedroom. Polk is straight quality!
