    Shivanasamudra falls is located in Mandya district.This beautiful fall is just 4 hour drive from bangalore and its one of the must visit places in Karnataka.
    The Kaveri river which plunges to create 2 beautiful water falls i.e. gaganachukki and barachukki falls and best location for a one day trip from Bangalore.
    Earlier people were allowed to go down to the Barachukki Falls and can enjoy coracle ride and a bath in the cold water.
    But unfortunately empty stairs are are waiting and people are not allowed anymore to go down or near the falls anymore.
    We are also waiting when they will open the Falls for public so we can enjoy the chilling water again.
    We started from Bangalore around 7:00 in the morning on a weekday hoping that less crowd will be there but when we reached there we could see lot more people than we expected.
    So if you are planning to travel to shivanasamudra in covid time make sure to take all the safety precautions so that neither you will catch corona from anyone nor anyone else will be infected from you.

    Can we visit this spot by bus from majestic or train from KSR ?

    • @TimelapseTravlog
      @TimelapseTravlog  Před 2 lety +1

      I have never visited by public transport to this place but surely you can go by bus and train but you have to again take a taxi or auto so in my point of view better to hire a cab from bangalore and visit sivanasamudra both falls (barachhuki n gagaganachuki) and talacadu(famous temple beside kaveri river)….anyways you can check below article for bus n train option and check few more artcles for bus or train option
