So about protection, since it has a gap, the BB can still shatter and bounce up in the gap to your eyes. Of course it's a small chance but still....
I bought them coz your recommandation, used with mesh mask like you and it is AWESOME no fog even when is cold day. Gap is there but BB cant fit in. THX a lot.

I’m thinking I may try these. I love mesh I’ve been using it for like 8 years but it hinders your awareness a little and the glare sucks. I’ll bet it fits nicely with helmets too.

My dye i5s never fog. Even when the humidity is over 80%.....absolutely zero fog!

Of course this is the author opinion and experience, but it would be interesting sharing the experience while playing with a helmet. I had a different Bollé, it says it's antifog and it sucks big time while I wear it with my helmet.
Yeah I think they won’t work that good with a helm. It sort of stops air flow at top 🔝

I believe I will need to install a little cooling fan on it to have some airflow, unfortunately.

Is there any concern with bbs or bb shards coming through the gap?
there is allways sa possibility, i would say not significant.
well the gap isnt 6mm wide as a airsoft bb, not saying shatter woint come in but thats pretty extreme
A BB can come through if you really push it through. I've been wearing them with a mesh mask over the goggles to stop that ever happening. Plus I wear a baseball cap on my head

I using corrective glasses . I just started adventure with airsoft . Was planning once and Tomorrow I'm going as well. Expirence with double glasses was nightmare for me. Every 20 mins I looking for Marshall to find a safe place to wipe them . Any recommendations for me ?

i would say no..
I kept using them until a bb ended inside of them because of bad seal design. Then I started to invest in real eye pro.
Yeah, it’s a tricky one, but even if a BB gets inside, I don’t think it will come with speed to do damage.

I'm not too trusting of the gap underneath.
Recently had a player with goggles like exactly similar to these, a seemingly similar gap on the bottom and he had a BB richochet from underneath, ending up against his Eye.
These goggles are now banned at my Field 😅
