Except, if he wanted to be really accurate, he should’ve taken the time to go to each spells original game. For example, here he showed Heal in DQXI, when it’s been a spell since the very first game.
8:11 possibly the best moment in the video, honestly. There’s just something strangely comedic about seeing a completely silent, still picture of the R.O.B. toy in the context of… really, any of his move’s origins.
I like how most characters have a video showcasing their down b's origin, then there's R.O.B., who just has an image of the peripheral with no sound whatsoever

This is very well done, I did not expect you to add in all of the DQ spells. No matter how many times there's a smash killer, Smash Ultimate is still one of the greatests that will never be topped. Unless its by Sakurai himself.

@@zer0p1x3l Both Nickelodeon All Star Brawl and Multiversus have been dubbed Smash Killers from multiple sides of the internet, Smash fans, competitive smash fans, then they killed themselves. Nick was too overhyped and under budget while Multiversus failed to meet demand. Going back to Smash after playing those two made me appreciate how much work Sakurai and his team made it incredibly polished with its animations and movement.

about halfway into the video, I just realized something: “oh boy, Hero’s down special. That’s probably gonna take up majority of this video.”
Impressive, although you got Heaven's Door and the morph ball bomb origins mixed up, Heaven's Door came from Tekken Tag Tournament 1 where it was exclusive to Devil and Angel (which was later brought back in Tekken 5 as a Devil Jin move exclusively and later TTT2 to Kazuya and then T7 again)
Morph Ball Bomb was in the original NES Metroid game.
Some I didn't even know there were origins
Also a lot of DQ spells came from much earlier titles

Dedede's down B isn't from Super Star, his jet hammer is from the cancelled Kirby GCN. The model from SSB Brawl of the jet hammer is from Kirby GCN, a piece of concept art shows Dedede holding the jet hammer.
That level 4 pidgey did not deserve that pikachu thunder lol

It should be noted that Min Min's Down Special specifically references the player being able to choose which of the three ARMS weapons to use for each arm before each round in a match starts.

Kirby Super Star Ultra released after SSBB. Dedede’s Jet Hammer is based on Kirby Super Star, in which Kirby can perform a similar move, the Hammer Flip, when in possession of the Hammer copy ability: it consists in charging the hammer, then releasing it with a fiery upward swing as shown in the video.
Later games, released after Brawl, made the Hammer Flip available to King Dedede himself in his playable appearances. The jet engine inside the hammer is a Smash Bros. original feature; however, King Dedede's Masked Dedede persona in Kirby Super Star Ultra (released eight months after Brawl) wields a new, electrified mechanical mallet which can shoot missiles and spew fire.
Although, it should be noted that the concept of King Dedede using a hammer with jet engines was planned way before Smash and Super Star Ultra, as evident with concept art for the cancelled GameCube Kirby game showcasing an early design for a "jet hammer". Said game still has representation in the final version of Brawl, via various Kirby trophies who use models that match greatly with the ones from that game.
Maybe you should ACTUALLY play all the Kirby games before you make assumptions.

It's a shame to see that Smash 4 was the game where they began becoming too reliant on counter attacks to be the down specials for characters, and then it just continued into Ultimate's newcomers.
I always thought Isabelle's down special was also referencing her setting up the firework displays in New Leaf alongside the gyroids as a whole.

I think for ganons down be it originated from ocarina of time you know that attack he does when you get close to him and he stomps on the floor
I think he actually pounds the ground with his fist in OoT. It would have made a lot more sense for him to use that in Smash, but of course he was a last-minute Capt Falcon clone at first.

2:00 while the falcon kick technically has no origin, a lot of f-zero was based off of kamen rider and one of the characters is known for their moves the rider punch and the rider kick which are possibly the inspiration for the falcon punch and falcon kick.
Fans believe the DLCs and updates may features big references from all franchises.

Byleth's down special isn't actually Raging Storm, but just a very strong attack with Aymr. To activate it, the user needs to have Crest of Seiros, and Byleth only has a Crest of Flames

Fox's reflector actually came from melee originally but it's therorised that it was inspired by the barrel roll, I personally don't see the similarity.
