Not really underrated as much as just unknown. I have only heard a few people say they dislike Herby.
If you missed it, Amy/Karmin/Qveen Herby used to be a slam poet and mentor for Youth Speaks during college. It really helps during writing, delivery of lyric. Her, Watsky, Amanda Seales, etc. were raised up in the same slam poetry then, mentorship role-time period. Their rhythm, pacing, timing hits your ear calmly while the stage presence is there.

This makes me feel so FUCKING proud of Amy. I've been a fan since Brokenhearted- which, ironically, I didn't like at first. But then it grew on me, and from there she has followed my life since I left primary school. I'm 21 now, and the fact that she's still going strong with delivering the message to be a bad bitch but still humble just satisfies my soul. She's a good person, and extremely talented, and I am honestly so grateful to be a stan to this day. So many of her songs helped me through a lot of moments in my life, and it still does! She's amazing, and I hope to see her reach the highest peaks in the industry-- without much of the bullshit, anyway.

it's worth mentioningthat they were absolutely HUGE as Karmin in Australia, i remember being about 12-13 and hearing Acapella and broken hearted on the radio for months on end. they all of their singles went platinum or double platinum here.

Thank you! And I agree! I love how her videos are relatively simple as well. For the most part, she's just lip syncing with the song, but she always serves such amazing costumes and set design! And all her videos are so different from each other. And that's SO impressive considering how much music she releases. Amy and Nick deserve a huge round of applause for their creativity!

@@sunjakin Albums don't matter as much as they used to for the reason you've stated, people would prefer frequently released singles and EPs rather than full fledged LPs.
She is trying to release four EPs a year in an interview she did. I think she's succeeding so far.

I don't know if somebody is paying attention to it, but I would like to put my feelings out. Amy is very very very important to me because her songs can help me to deal with all the challenges I have to face and she makes me feel inspired and brave, I have a dream of trying a career in the song industry like about pop, rap, things like this. But, I don't even know from where I start... Although I'm just a 15 years boy I would feel so happy if I could make this, so... I think as you could see she REALLY inspires me so much and I truly love her so much, and hope she get the attention she deserves ♡
