This is also my first outdoor playing session of the year. Windy!
Playing on and off for just over 2 hours. They stayed very stable.

-Elevation chanter from MacLellan Bagpipes

-Adrian Melvin chanter reed
-Henderson Harmonic drone
-Canmore Synthetic bag
And the Duncan tartan kilt, of course.

I’ve heard that only those with Scottish blood love the sound of pipe music. It didn’t take Ancestry to tell me I had Scots ancestors because I’ve loved pipe music all my life. This puts tears in my eyes. ❤
Don’t have to have Scottish blood somewhere to enjoy the pipes, pretty sure I don’t. 😋
considering the Bagpipes are mentioned in the Bible. . and .. they are found in many countries, you do not need to be Scots to enjoy.
My late 2nd wife loved this song and we had a piper, who was a retired Pipe Major of the Royal Regiment of Scotland, I believe p, play it for our wedding. It was awesome. I’m so glad that we recorded it. I love listening to it whenever I can. Thank you.
There is nothing like the bagpipes leading one to war. We were involved in a war in the 70's and our pipers would play Cock of the North every time that our troop train stopped at a station. Very inspiring.
