Wow, can't imagine the stress and the energy to get all of those sheep separated into their proper group. One good thing is that you have the ATV to ride behind the sheep to keep them moving forward. Can't imagine how hard things would be without one. Hope Charlie is ok as he seemed really chilled in this video and not very active. Hope you get rewarded for all your hard work selling some sheep in the coming weeks.
Hopefully we will get good prices, Ya the quad atv is brilliant. We would be lost without them. Thanks for the lovely comment. Glad you enjoy the videos👍
Nice one Glyn That was hard work bringing that amount of sheep down from the mountain listening to you're dad was hilarious 😂😂 You're lambs are looking amazing hope you get a good price for them when you sell them the price of lamb in the shops is gone way up in the last couple of months The factories need to start passing some of that to the farmers Enjoyed watching as always looking forward to the next one
I am a Galway man and I travelled all around Ireland to farms, but Kerry people are down to earth and no bull,,,,t,I farm sheep also and it's better than any Gym best of luck
Cheers Brian. Kerry people are sound out 👍and I have to say the same for the galway people. Love going upto saltillo on our holidays 👍 thanks for the comment
You made a tough job look easy. Lambs without their moms are a nightmare to move. Sally looks great, nice job bringing her along.
Thanks Kristin. It's definitely not easy, that's for sure,
Ya Sally is very good now thank god
Dad is really embracing this youtube lark now.
He is Wendy, loving the attention 😅😅

Cheer Micheal. There not too bad this year👍👍
Great video as always 👌
Thanks again garry
It's so annoying when the bulk of lambs come fit for selling the price hits the floor every year 😑.
Same every year. A pure disaster. Factories really are running the show

Good Stuff, was that lamb that was struggling to get down a ram or ewe lamb ? either way needs to find its way to the market
A ram, it had pneumonia, was fine after a few days. 👍
Comment for the algorithm to help the channel 👍.
Thank you ciaran appreciate it
Great video. I am curious - do you take sheep that drop dead, like that one in the video, to a vet to determine why she died? Thanks, Barb
Hi barb, Ya we did, she had a form of cancer,
It also cost us 50 euro to get her taken away by the knackery
Imagine 50€ crazy
@@sheepshepherd Thanks for the info.
@shanereaney3631 ya it's outrageous tbh
What age u wean the lambs
Have you ever considered buying a 2 way drafter? Would make life a lot easier weaning lambs & sorting lambs for factory??
I have .. saving up for a good one as we speak 👍 tpari system is the way to go
@@sheepshepherd yeah they are great but very expensive. I think there's a Tams grant for them now.
@gerryoconnor8751 ya very experienced. I'll be saving for a long time 😂
R.I.P
How old are your lambs when you wean?
I asked too soon, ha! he said 14 weeks at the very end.
Ya roughly,, give or take. 👍
Why don't you put rings on the ram lambs
We never did, more work, more chances of infection when young.
It's not a issue for us. Works well
