If you ask them these questions, they will only tell you that whatever they are selling is the best even if it's low quality crap. Hardly anyone will give any assurance in writing. Most shopkeepers only know how to sell and don't care about increasing their domain knowledge like you. So for customers, the safest option is to pay a little extra always go for known brands with established quality as opposed to local unbranded products.

For sound reduction it is always recommended to go for DGU - Double Glass Unit set up.
