- Get obsessed and stay obsessed. There’s a negative connotation with obsession but I’d argue people performing at the highest level are obsessed with their craft and that can be the most fulfilling way to live. Of course, balancing your relationships has to fit into that picture but don’t be afraid to own your obsession.

I agree. Either we are all-in or out. If it is not an obsession, there is no point in doing it; we clearly do not choose it. If we are lukewarm, we need to move on.
God points you bring up in the video. Really having a passion for something that fills you up and excites you can ultimately change your life - and yes something to strive for makes kids mature and teaches them how to work hard to improve - where the benefits not only come from achieving big goals but also getting a sence of momentum and personal growth.

What is your pursuit or obsession now? I remember your grantland/bill simmons mini video documentaries where you really struggled with the idea of life post retirement. I have come to that point in my life where sports are done for me due to injury. I would love a video on whether you are still searching for the obsession, found something or possibly a conclusion to those bill simmons docs.

It is a mystery for many about how much you are involved in the consultation with the Warriors. Do you travel with the team during season? Do you only train the players or you also make strategy for the team? How much influence do you think you have on the Warriors? I am just very curious about your basketball life after retirement.
