The laptop doesn't recognize the device. This is a bogus product! I recommend anyone reading this to not buy this product. You'll waste your money.

This voice recorder cannot charge from the computer's USB port and record at the same time. However, I discovered that if it is connected to the USB port of a 5000 mAh powerbank, then it can record and use power from the powerbank at the same time. In this way, I recorded even more than 24 hours without interruptions. I believe that the power bank is used in a different way than the USB port on the computer because there is no line with DATA signals.
I should have known it was nothing more than junk one that way no instructions with it because if the manufacturer doesn't know how to use it I damn sure don't
If you were unlucky and bought this recorder in a newer version, it records sounds in terrible quality (mp3, Mono, sampling rate 16000). The old version has excellent recording quality, it even records whispers (mp3, Stereo, sampling rate 32000).
