Remember, it’s 250WHP, add 25% for drivetrain loss and you’re at 300-310HP which I think is plenty for a 2600lb drift missile. You’re making as much as an older 350z and they weigh a lot more than 2600lbs.
25% drivetrain loss is a LOT, but given its way custom and totally mismatched parts, I guess that makes sense.

you know thats because of the dyno, right?
That's the dyno causing that, and the flywheel is already aluminum as it's a custom one to fit the 1uz with an sr20 clutch.

Ging you should look into getting some bigger cams and a terminator cobra supercharger(M112) with minor adjustments will literally bolt right up to the 1UZ
He's thinking of doing a procharger on the motor while remaining stock from the valve covers down. I would do your idea tho
You need an adapted intake manifold, then they bolt on. But I'm not sure if they make them for the vvti heads or not.
There are none for the vvti motor that i have seen
People saying “that’s a small amount of Hp for a v8” need to realize stock ls1s (YOU KNOW THE CORVETTE MOTOR) made about 280-90 to the wheels this really isn’t that slow for a very low displacement v8 people need to stop thinking that “oh it’s a v8 it must make 500hp or it’s slow”

The fact you only needed 245 hp to drift as well as you did is amazing. Every other drifting youtuber needs like 350-500 hp for them to comfortably drift.

I would put the rear axle in the correct spot before putting in the 4 link. It’s too far to the back and that may be cause it to axle tramp (wheel hop as you call it) all the time. I drift and rally a car with a live axle and they rarely hop.

Brother, I am definitely subscribed for this build. I can with confidence say that I have never seen a 1UZ swapped small truck. It is already cool af, but it would be so much cooler with a big ole trubo on it, but I'm sure you already know this.

My 10 year old BMW X6 has 400hp with 450lb ft of torque...but I'm not killin it (making $$) on YT tinkering around with it every week. And as long as you keep making that, "I'm taking a HUGE DUMP" face when you accelerate through the gears, I'll keep watching and smiling.

One of my good friends has a 1uzefte in is s13 and those engines are monsters when you turbo them. To my knowledge you can make 600 moderately safely with stock internals

Plus the next number I thought was 270, but I thought it was way higher than the actual number, because a lot of things would have to be changed. 247 was the original number I had in my mind ever since the notification for this video popped up and it is the only number I had on this comment.

Cam it. Cammed 1UZs are narley. If you can't afford a especially made cams, take the ones that you have already(stock ones) to a machine shop and let them increase the airflow
That run at 7 min was where I was like omg that engine note sounds so much nicer than before. It was nice before but just didn't sound quite right for some reason
Just dropping a little knowledge... you don’t actually feel torque, torque is the rotational (twisting) force and horsepower is the perceived work “perceived” (how fast and hard it’s twisting) being the key word... torque X rpm = horsepower, that 30ft-lbs you’re feeling is actually the 15hp ish gain in the low end you can see on the dyno graph at 8:43 keep up the projects! Love your videos!!!

A small 6262 turbo will spool very fast and get you to 450 whp easy, and you need new rear suspension
That thing sounds rad, really unique.
You got 200 whp per ton. That's very respectable for any car, especially one that you built yourself (mostly)
250 is good for low displacement, don't try to turbo that, if you do you NEED to gap the rings or they'll expand from the extra heat and rip the top of your pistons off or shatter those stock rods, I've seen ppl put a turbo on stock rings and run fine for a bit then suddenly they lose power and have a ton of blowby or send a rod through the oil pan
So I was flying over Chicago as I had a layover in ORD and instead of anything about Chicago, I'm like, "Gingium and the drift truck is somewhere down there..."

My truck which is a f250 5.4 sohc v8 2v per cylinder from 2002, it said online it was making 260hp 330tq and it’s a 3/4 ton crew cab 4x4 maybe it’s crank idk

I actually love the original paint of this truck, I’m so sick of seeing wraps and shit. I love a good nice patina, weathered look, especially on a truck.
Also, my man you need to build this engine if you are really looking to boost it. You have aluminum rods and pistons, they won’t be nearly as reliable as if the engine were built up from the get-go and especially if this thing will be ripping sideways bouncing off of the limiter constantly at track days. Just looking out for ya, keep up the great content!

Whats the point revving past 5500 when your are hitting max torque at 4250? other then sooner or later you be at the rev range for max BHP
So you want to rev to 4200 then shift to the next gear, or do you want to go 6kplus and the next gear already be in the power band
