- Since I posted about growing my Depop shop on TikTok, I've gotten SO many comments asking how I list, package, and ship out my Depop orders. So I created this step-by-step guide to answer all your questions- in this video, I teach you how to list your clothes, to use Pirate Ship to create a cheap shipping label, I show you my shipping supplies and teach you how to package, and I even take you to the post office with me in this tutorial! i’ve actually never understood shipping labels and all that stuff so thank you for these tips!! i have a bunch of shoes and clothes i want to sell but i’m scared of messing up and upsetting buyers, so congrats on your success! it’s so cool that you’re able to giveaway AF1’s!!
Amazing video. However if you ship at USPS I recommend shipping your packages at the little kiosks instead of waiting in line. You just tap the prepaid label button, scan the package, and drop it off in the bin right next to it. It’ll email you the confirmation numbers.

when i get the confirmation numbers, do i send my buyer the tracking number or how will they get it?

i definitely didn’t know if depop was my thing or not, but after watching that i feel like i should give it a try! my fav part of this was when you wrote your customer a note, it shows you care for them! it’s super cute and sweet!

@@megchickpea1597 hi I have a question so my parents agreed to make a PayPal account so I can link it with my Depop but there’s some questions I wanna know like well the money that I make from Depop go straight to the PayPal account? Well depop take away any money inside my parents card I mean I do understand the money you make off a shirt Depop will take away 10% but I just wanna know , for example shipping if I have my buyer pays shipping is Depop gonna take any money away from my PayPal account correct ?

hey im confused on the shipping part, wouldnt it cost less for you to ship with depop than doing the pirate ship method?
it costs less to use pirate ship most of the time
Your video has helped me out a lot! I had a question. When you are using Pirate Ship to calculate the hypothetical shipping price, how are you calculating your measurements. Do you already have the item in the packaging or are you just guessing. Just wasn't sure what information to put there. Thanks!

@@marleyk2003 i just ended up having placeholder measurements that are close enough to the average. so if it’s a shirt i have a guess measurement of what a shirt would weigh. that kind of thing

For shipping, do you over estimate the weight on pirate ship after you weigh the item? In case your scale is a little off and the mail room gets a different weight for your item?

@@claraandrewww Apologies for not responding in time. If you ship with Depop and have already gave your prepaid packages to the USPS office it should within a day or 2. Then the shipping would cleared off. Although I’m sure you’ve already found a solution.

hey! I weight my item and then use pirateship to calculate what the highest shipping price could be. So I make a fake label shipping my item from CA to NYC to see what the price would be, and set it to that

i believe she paid for the shipping label on pirate ship, so when she went to the post office it was prepaid with the label on and she just needed to drop the package off
