I have a foldable extra bag in my luggage, but I have to get me one of those jewelry holders. I have a medium size container that locks closed in my suitcase that I put my jewelry in, I have to get one of those jewelry holders. 👏💞👏 OMG!!! I love that go stack holder to put my vitamins in, for when I travel. Great tips!!!!!!

Whenever I travel, I love to pack my bags... to me. its sooo fun
you need to try the (sulfate free!) Chagrin Valley shampoo bars (Cafe Moreno is my fave, but the Neem & Tea Tree is great for itchy dry winter scalp) & butter bar conditioner...start w/ the sample sizes. i won't run out of the full size bars that i've cut into chunks for years.

OMG, I thnk I NEED that twist and spray perfume bottle! I am not big on "perfumes" persay but I do carry a body spray with me in my purse always. I think I NEED this. Do they sell anything similar outside of Chanel? Like a generic version of the bottle only?
I love your videos and I was wondering if you had to know how to swim for ditching the plane in water during training. I can't swim and was wondering if I could still pass this part of training.
Some airlines you are required to know how to swim and some you are not. Check the job description when you are applying. We did ditching drills in our training center pool during my training but were not required to do a swim test. :)

The lush shampoo bars are amazing, I didn't like lush until I discovered this product (a friend of mine gave it to me as a gift when I went travelling). However I'm finding that unlike yours mine doesn't stay like a bar of soap and just smushes in the case and I have to use a utensil to scoop it out. How do you keep it in the shape without it just smushing into a blob?

Have you never gotten in trouble by TSA for having that pill case? Most places (especially if you're traveling internationally) won't let you bring unlabeled pills.

If you're flying international and you're in the airport get it at a duty free store, they are the best prices. :)

Yes, because you are just as much a security risk as any other passenger. We go through staff search which is just as screwtinising. Same regulations that apply to passengers apply to flight crew/anybody working on airside
Hi I also live in NYC and use to work for panam and twa and fly all over the world in my 20s and I e developed panic and anxiety attacks and flying ((which was my passion for years) has become panic ridden ie I black out w panic ie I've lost consciousness on several flights ...not fun....have you experienced people with panic on your flights? I have not flown now in 3 yrs since I'm embarrassed...meds don't help ..any advice?
mark patrick Have you tried or considered therapy? It takes courage to ask for help, so I commend you. You're definitely not alone in suffering from this! The good news is there are effective treatments for anxiety/panic disorders/specific phobias, and it often doesn't take long to make significant progress. One method that can be very helpful with symptoms like yours, is systematic desensitization, a technique of exposure therapy.
I don't have personal experience with it, but I suggest at least consulting with a therapist who specializes in treating these disorders. You can discuss their recommendations & see if you feel comfortable with them. Don't be afraid to meet with more than one, if needed- the relationship with you therapist is the most important factor for success, regardless of the disorder/type of treatment. As with anything, there are great therapists & not so great. My personal opinion is that it's worth finding the right therapist & having them guide you thru the process. You can try techniques on your own, but an experienced therapist provides things you just can't get by yourself (however, adding supplemental techniques is often useful.)
Below is a link to a quick overview of some approaches, including the one mentioned (funny enuf, an example is shown with flying-related anxiety.) If you're interested, I'd suggest researching a bit more or just meeting with a therapist, so you can understand the benefits of doing this with someone qualified. Don't let this stop you from things you enjoy so much- don't give up! Good luck!

I would guess you no longer a flight attendent, why not go by train.
My Aunt went by train or ship to avoid flying.
The Therapy will be very costly, I only do if you going to go back to
work flying. If you no longer work as FT taking a office job then just
go by train, ship.

Hey Stella I have a question when u on reserve do u get paid for being sit at the airport??
Yes. We have standby shifts that last about 6 hours and if they don't use us we still get paid.
And u get paid same wage that u get pay by flight hours?' My question is u have the same amount of hours every month or when u are on reserve u do less hours or money
If you have a work trip and have to stay in another country for some days, does your company pay the food and hotel?
No we have to pay for our own food but they do give us per diem every hour we are away from our home base (this pay is separate from our flying hour pay). So we are paid to be on a trip whether its domestic or international.
