I watched the video when you started about 3 years ago and now it’s done, well it was finished 9 months ago but wow you put a lot of detail into this and this is one of my favorite ships
Not sure if you already tried, but Rhino handles disjoint meshes much faster than normal NURBS surfaces. if you select all, extractrendermesh, join the meshes and hide the original geometry, you should be able to move the camera around more smoothly. Great model, of course. Ships hulls give people a lot of problems
USS ARIZONA was a 14inch gun while the NAGATO was far bigger 16inch caliber gun but my suggest the USS colorado class because it had the same caliber(16inch) and would be a worthy opponent plus both ship had incredible sheer of goodluck

Would love to see IJN Nagato take on USS Arizona in the open sea. It would have been a fight for the ages.
