That Green Zebra looks very different from the Green Zebra we grow in the U.S. Hate for someone here to buy it expecting a tri color beefsteak instead of the green and gold larger saladette size. I adore the look of the Michael Pollan tomato. Might want to try that one! Same with Summer of Love, wow.
You are correct about green when ripe tomatoes, they are some of my favorites. Thank you for this video!

You may be right about the Green Zebra as I think someone else also commented on it a while ago. I was given the seeds so I went with what I had. I'll look into it some more. Michael Pollan is delicious and took me way by surprise when I first grew it, a lovely and prolific tomato.

I'm almost positive the mystery tomato is called Black Strawberry. I grew it this year to frame the garage. It gets a 10 for ornamental qualities and a 2 for taste. It takes a long time to ripen. It's sold as a cherry tomato but it's about the size of a golf ball maybe just a touch larger. I found the taste to be bland, the center to be mealy and the skin to be a bit chewy. So although it's gorgeous it's useless to eat. I had about 10 people taste this tomato and they all thought it fell short.

I wondered if it might be something like Black Strawberry but these are very tasty and even made it into my top 10 for this year, so I’m not so sure now. Sometimes they can taste completely different can’t they… I have been growing Black Beauty for two years and both years I’ve wondered what all the fuss is about. I wonder if it’s my seeds 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@veggieplot I grow Black Strawberry and enjoy the flavor quite a bit. The Black Strawberry is a bit smaller and has more coloration than the tomato shown. I'd keep looking. Good guess though.

A few more guesses for the unknown variety. Based upon how soft it seems between your fingers and under the knife I am guessing it was a very ripe example? First thoughts Blood Moon or Blue Zebra but thoughts then drifted towards Chestnut Chocolate, which is brown/orange when ripe, but finally becomes red. Perhaps if you compare the weight of your typical fruits at picking, and the colours during ripening, you will zero in on the most likely candidate. Foliage colour might help too as some of the dark forms have noticeable blue tones in the emerging leaves
