I will start by saying that this is my personal opinion. I did some research and it looks like I have not been the only person to have this issue, if you have a similar problem with your Razer Kaira Pro
Headset!
I don't think this is a bad Headset, to be honest, I just think that there might be a bad batch of Razer Kaira Pro headsets that were sold.
Whenever I get my replacement I'll go ahead and make a new video with the full review of the Kaira Pro for the PS5 and all the features that it offers.

So mine is acting and it’s honestly annoying considering the amount they’re asking for. I’ve had mine charging for more than 4 hrs and the light on the headset is still blinking. This thing just doesn’t want to charger properly. Wtf

I have these and some similar problems. Let me say first that these headsets are actually amazing despite it's faults. The issues I've had with it is regarding battery life. When it's connected to BT on my phone and I'm listening to music with hypersense set to max, it actually drains a fully charged battery within like 10 mins, well that was the case for me. If hypersense we're on off, it would work perfectly. But like I'm a bass head so I need to feel the bass lol. Now regarding when it's connected to the PS5, I get like 4 hours with hypersense on max and EQ on FPS. I'm in the process to get a replacement. It sucks you got issues with their customer service, I've had nothing but good experience with them.
Sorry to hear you got a faulty unit. I get at least 10 hours on mine with the vibration and lights on. More when I turn down the vibration intensity.

I’m getting nowhere near that on mine that I got today! Lasted me 15 mins with lights on (low brightness) and hypersense on low. Is this a faulty unit or just a general design flaw with this headset? Also the side tone is really low can’t really hear myself when game audio is playing
Hi mate when does your battery low indicator come on? Mine lasted for over 7 hours it didn't die but i started getting the battery low message every 3-5 mins afdter 3 hours lmao

I just got my headset from Amazon a couple of days ago and notice my battery life only last about 3hr I requested a new one last night cuz of the issue and Amazon gave it to me TODAY not even a whole day so I'm glad I got it from Amazon and not from the Razer website
It took 7 days for me i ordered it the 24th of december

We’ll, Let me tell you. I’m actually sending back my replacement, the battery on the new was worse!
I do want to say that this is my personal opinion and my personal experience. I don’t want to tell you what to do with your money, but this headset for me is not worth it. Unfortunately I got two faulty ones, and I’m a lot of time sending back the item.

Would you recommend these over the razer blackshark v2 pros?
I just ordered theses coming from the blacksharks v2 for two reasons. 1 the blacksharks has micro usb for charging and I hate it because I have usb c cables everywhere. 2 I like the smart switch feature on the Kaira Pro’s. I also hate having to take the headset off to take a call. Other than that I love the blacksharks. They’re extremely comfy and I’ve charged them like 5 times since may. Haptics seem sweet and I think it will for the Horizon drop. If you want I can give you an update after they come in.
How does it compare to the vitrioso rgb cosair?
I’m debating between this one I own the ps5 pulse atm and unsure if it is worth going for anywhere I can get this in the uk apart from razer direct

I agree with you about their customer service. I had some simple questions that was like pulling teeth with these people. I’m lucky I have a good one. But ya they should send you one and let you send back once new one is at your home.
Customer service is horrible. I had to ask them through an online chat the same question like 5 times and I was transferred from one person to another. I had to ask them if it was real life. Lol. Finally I was able to have a real chat but was told that I was basically speaking to the wrong department. Then they transferred me to a sales department where the girl I was talking to was literally answering my questions by copying what was on their website and pasting to the conversation. I was almost ready to buy these headphones until I experienced this. Now I'm very uncertain.
@@jasonmcnab8619 ya I mean they are a great headset. But maybe wait until they are available at stores or on Amazon somewhere you can get good customer service if faulty. Because if they work correct they really are great!!! Lol but damn they service sucks. Lol.

Easy it gives you a adapter for usb just takes up a charging port

Can you somehow handle chatmix with this headset on PC or PS5? Is there any way to switch between the chat volume vs game volume? This is the most important point for me given that of course the headset works. Thanks for your review and I'm sorry you got a faulty one.
I don't think you can do it with any headset on ps5 unless you have a optical headset with the adapter as the optical cable is used for chat mix

@@ericksonderblohm8625 I think it's only sony...I have the artis 7p and that can not do it I also have astro A20 they can't either....I have an older set of a40s just sitting in their box also as there is no update for the new consoles....hopefully sony will release a software update for the mic mixing as it is pain in the ass
You can do it on the Sony headsets, but no other headsets. Sony COULD release a software update that allows the audio to be split for headset manufacturers, but as of right now the ability to split game and chat audio is over USB and optical. If you purchase a headset with optical and an extractor you can split. You can also go the optical to TV route.

I appreciate you and your reviews. I definitely want to try this headset, but I'm curious how the captive affect glasses. I understand on high it might be too much, but not sure about low? I understand you don't wear glasses so may be tough, but maybe the clamping force? Thank you, hope you get the replacement soon

Is It compatible with ps5 3D audio?
All headsets are. It is software based through PS5. Has nothing to do with hardware of headsets.
How is the ear comfort?

I would try to get in touch with Razer. It seems like there’s quite a few faulty ones out there

I just got the new one, after an extra week wait cuz of customs, and razer not putting my apartment number on the shipping. so hoping it works well this time, I really did love the headset. Reallly great review.

The headwater really have extra bass ?
This was literally my issue when I got them, I just realized it too late to send it back and get my refund. One year later they still don't work, they keep turning off after literally 5 minutes of use. Most shittiest $200 I spent on headphones. I'm currently using the PlayStation headphones and they're way better than the Razor headphones AND I only spent $100 on them which I am baffled by tbh but whatever.
Alienware are releasing a wireless headset this month I think..could be a good one

@@dotsfrazer Thank you! I looked into The PenRose too, but they have quite a few of mixed reviews so I wasn’t sure about them. The Alienware on the other hand look pretty promising, but I’ll just have to try them out tbh.
Mine will last 50 hours with everything off. With haptic on low and no RGB they will last about 12 hours 14. But can use while charging charge fast. Stinks yours are faulty. Stay safe. Hope they send you new one. Mic works great both the removable boom and the built in one. It will default to it when you take the boom out.
I’ll definitely test out the new one when I get the replacement. I hope I can get more than 2 hours this time. lol.

Does Hypersense feature worth it?
@@npatu2003 it is awesome. Takes the sound to another level making them like real premium headphones. Because for music it adds bass but doesn’t mess with sound and for games it’s very positional They are great. They took the place of my beats studio 3 as my all around headset. Phone calls music gaming movies all awesome with these.
@@npatu2003 plus it’s not just that but your getting more battery better build quality , better ear cushions and a built in mic along with the removable boom mic. So if you are just using them as headphones you can take the mic out and still make phone calls. They are nice man. I like em.!
Just got mine, charged them 100% and died in 15 minutes! RBG on and low hypersense but surely this is not right???
i just imagine being in the middle of an intense game and all the audio cuts out and i hear "incoming call... incoming call..." i would be so pissed haha

No mic test and 50% of the video is about the razer service... would be nice to see the ear cushions more in detail
I've had the same issue. I was only getting like 2 to 3 hours with medium haptics and no rgb. I've got a refund from Amazon. I've seen a lot of reports of people having issues with battery life. It's so disappointing as everything else is great with this headset
I have the same settings and get 7-7.5 hours though it could change down the road. I’m not sure if a lot of units are defected or I just got lucky but it sucks that battery life is an issue for what seems like everyone
@@BigYodaBalls My first thought was mine was defective, but the amount of people reporting this issue leads me to believe its either a design flaw for false advertisement regarding its battery life. To be honest I've gone back to using my EPOS H6 Pro and I find that they sound much better to my ears. They don't have haptic bass and aren't wireless but I'm willing to sacrifice those things
got a faulty one with shit battery got a replacement one with the same issue so got a refund and probably wont be buying another razer headset from now on.

I respect your opinion, but that’s not my true intention. I wanted to give a short review of the headset and my experience.

Rgb lights on a headset are so beyond fucking pointless, if ever there was a more stupid feature, U CANT SEE THE FUCKING LIGHTS FFS, the haptic stuff sounds interesting though, just brought some steelseries 7x which i love the premium build and comfort but theyre just too quiet.
Exactly rgb gives no benefits when comes to audio or comfort so for me pointless.
The 1st thing I thought of when I saw the one feature is I can tell my wife to not bother me when the lights are flashing red. I think that would be a great benefit to let people around you to leave you the F alone when the headset led’s are having a seizure. I just ordered this headset and will be getting it tomorrow upgrading from the Blackshark V2 Pro’s which were great but I couldn’t stand the micro USB charging port ( who the hell keeps those around) and the smart switch which will be great because I hate having to take the headset off for calls. Plus I think the haptics will be great for the Horizon Forbidden West release.

@@Joe-if5rq volume is great, louder than most wireless headsets. Having issues with my battery life too which has ruined it for me but will get a replacement as I really want to keep this headset.
Uhm.. it interferes with my ps5 controllers often. Won't recommend if you go all wireless 👎👎👎 playing destiny 2, getting connection delay sometimes random, very very annoying!
