    Great truck dude, they messed up the turning radius on the 2022/23 new tundras, I also got a 2018 SR5 crewmax, towed me a 12000 lbs fully loaded dump trailer once for few miles, can actually feel that load, but pulled through with no issues. Get yourself some sumo springs if you ever have to bottom out on tongue weight and truck bed loads at the same time.

    It’s a nice truck. There’s a guy selling one locally I’m kind of interested in. I just don’t think I can move past such bad gas mileage. Most full-size trucks get something like 15 city / 21 hwy. These are rated at something like 12 and 17 which is just terrible. I trust their quality, reliability, and capability more than any other full-size truck, but that is extremely inefficient on fuel. Unfortunately, all the American brand trucks are very hit or miss with reliability, and thus untrustworthy.

    Such great trucks. Been considering a 2015 double cab with standard bed. They're not cheap though...currently selling for more than my current 2018 IS300.

    I’m thinking of buying a tundra for my hauling business. Most of my loads weight 2 to 4 tons max . I’m considering buying a Texas trailer that can haul max 5 tons . My only concern is if the tundra can pull it ? Your tundra has no problems pulling 2 to 3 tons ?

    • @239junk
      @239junk  Před 2 lety +1

      The Tundra can haul up to 10k lbs. I've hauled 2 to 3 tons before, it was not a problem, but 4 ton will be pushing it

      If your going to be pulling any kind of weight daily save yourself the headache and just get a 3/4 ton diesel at least. I have had tundras and gasser 3/4 1 ton but diesel is hands down the way to go if your livelihood involves towing any kind of weight.

      @@jasonrobbins7269 The only problem is I live here in California and they are trying to get rid of diesel trucks. That’s why I’m switching from diesel to gas powered trucks.

      @@qualitylandscapeandhauling7942 I hear you I do too just sold my duramax cause they rape you on registration and having to smog it every year. I have 8 yrs left on my CA sentence then I can retire and get the hell out of this cesspool.
