ARZ performance make great quality parts. I am running their EGR block off plates and the improved oil pump supply pipe. As mentioned you should look into the DriftMotion Digital CPS or look into their new CPS magnet mod. I would have bought that digital CPS personally but I ordered a remain CPS unit from A1-Cardone last summer so I just ordered the magnet mod tonight.
Just a magnet installed to help with the voltage output signal. I did not notice a difference when I installed mine but I did not really have a problem to begin with. There already is a magnet in the CPS unit but the DriftMotion one sits on top of the OEM one to make it a lot stronger. I still have the DriftMotion magnet installed and plan on leaving it installed. LFATV the number 6 cylinder melted and had low compression. Started blowing hella smoke out of the valve cover vents. Still boosted strong. Its been since April now.
I think I had detonation or something to do with the egr cooler being blocked off from going into the intake and making the head and block by the number 6 super hot.
You've earned yourself my sub man ! I'm looking into buying an mk3 by the end of the year, and I dont know if I should 1j swap it like everyone else or try to put out some power with the 7m. Anyways great content !

People move on to JZ when they either can't figure out the 7m or don't have the courage to push through and get it done, 7m forever, the most misunderstood engine out there, good on you for keeping it alive.
fourocker I’ve made 600+hp on 7m’s, started with ge-t’s and loved them, the oil drive system and pickup situation scared me, I’ve blown up and built my share for sure, I prefer the sound and way the power comes on with the Jz. I’m proud of him for staying with it, but I’ll take Jz anyday.

I need to replace air intake system, but don't know what to do with vacuum hoses. Are there new intake hose parts that allow vacuum lines to be added, is there an entire system you would recommend?

I remember my first rebuild with all forged internals, back in 2000, then the 1st start, started right up and idle'd like a kitten.

Tim Armesto any car will do that on first start. Oil is used to lube up the pistons for installation so yea thats all that oil
