I've spent a good amount of time (32 years), in the music industry. In all honesty, I have never seen or heard a more unique, creative, and all around awesome band such as the outstanding, "BEE GEES". It deeply saddens me to see some of the tragedy that has visited these Fantastically talented Gibbs Brothers. My heartfelt THANK YOU to all of them for the amazing contribution they've made to the modern music scene.
That is said so well George. I truly feel so privileged to have been on this earth at the same time as this magnificent threescore. They have sung and written hundreds of some of the most beautiful songs ever and we are so lucky that we can listen to them with just the push of a button.
I can always get myself to cry when I listen to this song. I'm in the arts and it can be very lonely. Plus Barry's the one that says "I don't want to be alone" and he's the last one.

It makes me cry. My husband of 2 months just passed from pancreatic cancer stage4. He sang this to me always. We were 1st lives in high school. Just found each other again in July ..He was Beautiful man I love him Eternally

I remember the first time I heard this song. My radio alarm clock was set for 5 o'clock in the morning and when it went off I laid there and listened to it. I had always been a Bee Gees fan but hadn't heard anything new from them in a while and I was amazed at the song. After that I couldn't get enough of it. I still listen to it to this day, especially in light of what has happened to them since then. God bless Barry.

I have always LOVED this song. My daughter and I giggled about the lyrics that we could not interpret for years. Tonight we said, lets just CZcams with lyrics. Amazing how good this song is without even knowing what the VERSES contain. You know the chorus...easy and why I loved it so much! I would literally just make up words for the verses and we would giggle but we listened to it all the time. This says a lot about everyone involved. Great song!

Just a great beat to this song. I came across it by chance, I play it and OMG I can't stop listening to it. The Bee Gees are a legend, their music will never be forgotten, I don't care what anybody says about it.

You're welcome :) Yeah I made this video because I have been in love with this song for a long time and no one had done a proper lyric video for it. It took me ages to figure out what the backing vocals were :P (even now, I suspect some may be a tad wrong). Glad you appreciate the timing of the lyrics with the video, it was important to me the timing was right :)

Does anyone else try master Robin’s solo? I’m sitting here at 2:30am with headphones on singing only the chorus. I’m embarrassed when my fiancé texts me from the bedroom asking me to shut up, mostly because he can’t understand the words when I sing falsetto (badly). Now he’ll never love the treasure of a song I found. 😂

You know what impresses me even more? The level of _control_ they have over their voices. The Bee Gees are just finely, finely honed to utter precision.

Excellent song from day one. Even better now that I know the lyrics. I was only able to make out about 40% of what they were saying until now. Back in the 70s I was "too cool" to like disco or the Bee Gees but I am a huge fan now here in 2023.
The last part of the song is one of the most beautiful i've ever heard, from "Gone, but not out of sight", it has a place in my heart.

This song is amazing! Barry singing the words "And I don't wanna be alone" is a little prophetic considering he lost both of his brothers. R.I.P. Maurice and Robin Gibb.
Barry lost four brothers. His youngest brother Andy died very young.

Why not. You obviously appreciate music that is written from the "Heart" and not just "Rap" and Hip Hop. They worked really hard too and spent hours in the studio, sometimes for months straight. Partying came second (except for Andy who died at 30. They actually knew the English language too. I hope that music like this will return for my kids. I LOVE the Bee Gees. They wrote over 1000 songs! Amazing.

This is and will always be my all time favourite song because it mostly helped me when I was depressed one time in my life and I always listened to this song every night before going to bed. I'm really glad that my granddad got me into old fashioned music like The Beatles, The Jam, T-Rex and The Bee Gees aka my favourite band.
