I really enjoy this channel. Doing crafts like this was recommended to work through some PTSD. The way you explain things, the tone of your voice etc... is just calming. Also helpful in learning to adapt to only having partial use of my left hand. I'm incorporating a lot of this stuff into other projects, it really helps expand my creativity. Best channel of this type on CZcams! Thank you!
Thanks for the confirmation Doug. Am currently challenged with the old childhood PTSD as I had a cancer scare that turned out great but can't dial it back YET and was hoping this craft/art will be soothing. Crocheting sure wasn't. Am tickled pink by how sweet and the great teacher Yvonne is.
I too use this as myself prescribed therapy for PTSD. I lost my 19 year old son, David, 15 years ago, and after screaming at God for two years, I found this. It calms me; it helps me focus on something besides the flashes in my brain.
I would love to see what you're working on. I finished up a bunch of projects yesterday.
@@lonislovelythings3736 I am so sorry for your Loss .We lost our 8 year old Granddaughter in 2018 and it still Grabs us and shakes us up. I feel so sorry for my daughter also .I know how bad it hurts me ,But as a parent I know it hurts you and my daughter so much more.
This was great a pretty earring design, and thank you for showing all of the details and information and for not speeding the video up, I appreciate how you think of us beginners, people don't always want you to speed up the video, thanks Laura in uk
I agree with Doug Russell. I enjoyed your way of explaining things. It's obvious you're a patient person. The only suggestion I would make is increase your volume. I had to turn my volume to the top. This is the first video of yours I've watched. I plan to watch many more. Thank you!
You are SO FUN ‼️ "Wrap, Laugh, Love" is what I tell my daughter I'm making a piece: Wrapping wire, laughing and having fun, and Loving the community!

Yeah!! I am a beginner I sure missed your wire wrapping tutorials I started watching during the summer last year. thank you I missed you.
Oh dear, you are such an inspiration to me. Thank you so much for walking us thru your creative process! You are a beautiful person! xoxo
These are gorgeous! Thanks sooo much! I would always give you credit for the design, Yvonne!
Love these! Can’t wait for my wire to arrive, so I can get started. 🥰
Eeee! Let us know how it goes!
I just made these today using peridot as the center bead, copper seed bead as a spacers and three smaller peridot beads on each side. They came out beautifully! Really like the weight and feel of the 16g wire.. had to use 26 g wire to hang the beads as the peridot crystal holes are so small. Did the variation loop as opposed to the spiral. Looking forward to showing them off! Thank you for your clear instructions and awesome design!!!
These are so awesome, love these. You are amazing in everything you do 👍😍👏👏👏
I use a brass bristle brush. Works great. Cute earrings.
I love this design, Von. I'm watching and making it as I go. All the tips below are most helpful too, for the polishing of the pieces after the oxidation process. They would be easily made into hearts or triangles or any other basic shape.
I love your tutorials! They inspire me to make jewelry. And you are just adorable! A great tutor and look always toward to see what you come out with! 😍
GORGEOUS!
You are so sweet!! Thank you for teaching us and then allowing us to see what we make if we want too!! You are very selfless!! Big hugs to you!
love love the tutorial. can't wait to try it.
I love that your heart is with the beginner, ME! Bless your heart. A lot of tutorials leave us in the dust. LOVE your videos and especially your soothing, kind voice.
Great hair Yvonne. I love it!
love your work and love you. thank you!
Thank you so much, your so creative and generous to share
Thank you so much for these tutorials. Im a beginner and I appreciate how you go into depth for us beginners. I love how your voice is so soothing also. Thank you ❤️
Absolutely awesome and inspiring! Great tutorial and you are really good at making it real (the little laughs, the roll with adapting the design when the wire is a bit shorter than anticipated...). You make it so much less intimidating. Thank you! I can't wait to make these. Love your designs.
Just found your channel, love these. Thank You!!
Love these earrings, thank you so much! As Linda Spangler said, I wet my 0000 steel wool and use a drop of Dawn dish detergent. I also pull off a small piece because it’s easier to work with that way.
Hi Yvonne! You are so wonderful to watch! I always have a giggle somewhere while watching you! You explain things so well and have such a relaxing tone that I find myself searching you out for ideas, Thank you so much!!
You do beautiful work.
sooooo beautiful! thank you so much! much love
Beautiful. I always have a napkin over my coffee just for that reason lol. I can’t wait to try this. I have 20g and 30? I have been making my own earrings with gemstone beads and a clover at the bottom. Very simple for now.
Yvonne, I wet my steel wool and use a dab of Dawn dish detergent. It keeps the steel wool dust from flying around. I polish over a plastic tray that is easily rinsed off. Then I polish with my rotary tool with a 3/4" Carbon Steel Brush. Then I may tumble the piece for a beautiful shine depending on the stones I use. Great video. Thanks!
Ultra Polish Pads, available on Amazon, do a great job of polishing after steel wool. Great for polishing in between shows or wear also. One pad goes a long way.
That's a great idea! I'm also wondering if using spray furniture polish might help as well, like maybe Endust? Just a thought 🙂
Hi , my advice would be do your wire wool in water , a small bowl x thanks for sharing all your lovely videos x
Beautiful, love both these styles! Us, they would make beautiful pendants❤️
I am contemplating trying to do wire. Your videos are great!
I just have to say you look stunning in this video and these are gorgeous earrings tysm fs!!
Thank you for sharing your talents and encouraging the sharing of knowledge. The skill comes with practice and happy accidents. Sparkles...
LOL "something science happens". I love your channel so much.
Hello Yvonne,
You have become an excellent teacher.
Many tanks for giving us the opportunity to let us sell our jewelry after your teaching.
Lovely design!
Gorgeous design love it! I'm brand new to beading and jewelry making and appreciate your talent, time and effort to share. Thank you!
Thanks for the tutorial. Beautiful earrings
Yvonne...chalcedony is the stone and phonetically it's kal-seh-duh-nee. Hope this helps. Love, love, your style of teaching. Thanks so much!!
Love you and your videos! So lovely.
I really appreciate your way of teaching so patient for the new beginners, thanks you for also saying that we can sell what we make that we learn from you !
Great job love them, thanks for the info.
Cal-sed-duh-née is the pronunciation and it is a beautiful stone and word. I love the earrings. It looks like quite a sizable outlay of money to get the necessary tools and wires, but such a gorgeous artisan’s hobby. In your case, a profession, because everyone would pay good money for those earrings. I cannot believe how beautifully they came out.
Love your creative juices! Thank you so much. I have waited about 50 years for time to learn wire, and you have been a great teacher!
Beautiful 💜
Gorgeous
Very cute!
I like these second pair best.
I love your work thank you for sharing.
love your hair like that
Hi von I'm so happy I found your channel and these tutorials you make it so easy to follow and to do thankyou for thinking of us novice wire wrappers I carnt wait to do these and will probably wear this video out going back and forth to check I'm doing it right so thankyou so much for your time and patience in sharing your wonderful talents xx
I use your same method of polishing with steel wool however I just do it over the sink with running water. Works great
Thanks for the tutorial. Beautiful earrings
These earrings are just lovely. I also was so happy to see how you oxidized them. Long ago I used the liver sulfur in powder form and it made me feel really spacey, do I never used it again. The liquid you used looks so much better and easier. So thanks so much!! :)
Yes yes yes. Tytyty I've been wanting to learn this one !!
Honestly thank you. I used to enjoy wire weaving when I was younger and wanted to get back into this, not just as a hobby but also as a way to make my own money and your tutorials and tips have greatly helped me know what I need and what I want to try! My wonderful fiance' wants to get me the right tools so your knowledge and willingness to show newbies like myself is amazing. Thank you for showing me a new way to do what I love and make other people happy. I wish you nothing but happiness and a good life.
These earrings are gorgeous! Thank you so much for your design, I am getting my wire kit out for the first time in weeks! If I can figure out how, I'll send you a pic of the completed project. Nice job, Yvonne 👍☺️
I enjoyed the ear rings done today - I have not used steel wool in many years from when I used to strip and work on refinishing wood furniture. I like what it did to the ear rings. Waiting for next ones.
Thank you so much for sharing. You are very talented as well as being very generous to us beginners! Keep the tutorials coming. Sandra, Ontario, Canada
I love those earrings, very nice 🙂

I've spent the last two years buying tools, wire and beads using coupons a couple times a month. Almost there.....lol.😊 Not alot of extra funds to play with. The journey has been fun and I've learned a lot along the way. I know for sure that I can do this because I have not given up! This is going to be my first serious wire wrapping project. Wish me luck. Thank you for sharing your art and being kind. You are a great teacher ❣️👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
