@@SteelSnep if i remember correctly, the money didnt go to yogscast, but to a company promising to make a game for the them, but that company ended up wasting the money, and taught the yogscast to NOT promote/accept contractless projects based on their intellectual property, as it can hurt a brand
What happened is the games studio overpromised. They claimed they could do whatever they Yogscast wanted and the 'game' was just empty and shit even 2 years later. Making a game is hard. They needed far more money, that's all.
I made a video on my channel of the audio of a yogtrailer for a shitty game put over footage of the yogventures Kickstarter reveal. I can't get over how well it fits with the janky prototype of the game
