Starting a Secret Shade Garden 🌱🤗

On this spring Saturday I decided to get my last clearance Ice and Roses red hellebore into the ground.
I planted it along with some leftover impatiens in an area behind the shed that is largely shade and could use some beautification.
There is already a struggling Yew Rising Star there that wasn’t doing so great in its pot.
And the secret shade garden has begun! 🤗

I love the different colors and textures of the fern and the helibore. And the lilac, heurechas, and alliums are beautiful, too. Lovely secret garden. Thanks for sharing.
