I don't know about this set up. Even tho his truck bed is empty it's still not usable. Those small riding mowers aren't that heavy and he has a tommy gate. The best set up would of been having a set of similar ramps made or modified to were they would hook on to the bottom of the tommy gate from the top, essentially extending his lift gate to acomódate the mower. Then one on top just push the mower in. (Yes I know you'll be putting the center of gravity further out on the lift gate. However like I mentioned earlier those riding mowers are petty light for the lift capacity of the gate)
With all the time that takes, and all the money invested between storage fee, cost of less efficient mowers, the tailgate, the ramps, the winch... wouldn't you have been better off with an enclosed trailer ( no storage fees and no need for ramps/tailgate ) plus a Comercial 48 inch ztr would do more work than both of those tractors. I get that maybe some people can't get the financing for those things right away, but you seem to have the money for nice truck and other stuff, why not go the enclosed route? I'm not trying to pick a fight here, just curious. Applebee's rules.
I don't want to be pulling a big trailer every place I go and I don't have any place to keep one anyway. This is what I do for work on a daily basis. A big trailer would not work for me.
I no longer use this set up, I have improved it. Go to my channel and watch the video titled Copy of my lawn tractor rescue truck. I got tired of ramps being in the way all the time so now I don't need ramps.
The800sportsman big trailers arent a hassle with a powerful truck that pulls good, only in downtown areas and you can load them down with mulch or rock. in the 8 and a half minutes you took i could unstrap and unload 3 52 inch walk behinds
Very nice setup
Tube socks and slippers lmao,,,,
You don't need work boots when you're not doing any work! haha
nice setup!
Got it, thanks. I didn't think of the space issue. I'll check out that new set up.

That's great, but what if I don't wan't to spend the extra $10,000 to transport my $1,200 mower?
You can always rent a trailer from Uhaul.

You to can have this lawn mower setup you'll just not be able to use your truck bed. And it'll cost a couple grand at least. Dumb in my opinion!
One more dislike for this video.
