Although I do sometimes get a hand from BSG and occasionally get to talk to Nikita or other members of the team, I do not work for BSG. If they succeed, good on them. Nevertheless, I suspect that once the Nikita hate-wave passes they will just return to Tarkov. I highly doubt these devs will be able to manage the level of detail that Tarkov has. When people realize that it's just pretty graphics they will be left disappointed again by having to choose between playing a boring game or getting ripped off by Nikita lol
@dicecorporation tarkov has been in development for 6+ years and still broken. Gray zone warfare has been in development for 2 years but only little over a year of actual game development. I hope tarkov has more content, its only a given.
@@Relyinglemming6 Tarkov is broken but it's also a game with tons of more content and depth. It's also nothing like Gray Zone in terms of atmosphere and it has multiple maps.
I hope Arena Breakout: Infinite is the one to really make them sweat.
@@LightTrack- Yeah, that's my point. It will definitely create its own niche, just like Squad and other games did, but I don't see it becoming big like Tarkov. It's like the COD situation. Nobody wants another COD clone, they can go to COD if they want that experience.

@@dicecorporation I'm just glad another company is taking this genre seriously and making something big out of it. I hate BSG as a company with their direction and decisions and will not give them any more money for it. I agree grey zone won't be like tarkov at the start, but man they can make something great out of this in a year or two if they are consistent. I wish the best for grey zone and arena breakout, I'm tired of BSG owning the extraction shooter genre because of how trash they run their company. It's time for competition

If you still have hope for Tarkov, it's only good for everyone all around. Droves of players immediately hopping on to anything that isn't Tarkov might just light a nuke under BSG's ass to get them moving in the right direction. Or maybe not, IDK.
@@mikecostanza303 It is not in the condition to provide good competition to tarkov in current state. If they work more on GZW, maybe it will be a good competitor. But clearly not at the moment

in terms of friendly identification, i think the pda is fine for finding others of the same faction, but there needs to be more clothing options so that we can easily identify teammates. style coding our squads is a must have for cohesion in a firefight. armies have different patterned camos for a reason
Just have colored arm bands for your faction but doesnt show for the enemies.
I couldn't agree more. My raids in Tarkov have been saved by friends recognizing other friends based on the clothing they choose to wear, it has prevented many friendly fire situations.

Everyone needs to accept that IT IS A NEW PRE RELEASE GAME... there will be huge amounts of small issues and alot of big ones that take time to find a proper solution. I hope the tarkov community can go into it with an open mind and remember how broken tarkov was for so long. Who else remembers the insta med meta for most of tarkov? shit sucked. Fingers crosses these Devs just do their best and don't try to cash grab.
It's already more playable than Tarkov ever was. Look at that beautiful almost consistent 144hz throughout the entire footaga at the top right corner. Remember Tarkov having consistent FPS like EVER? Remember it being over 100 FPS ever? Me neither.
@@victorvictor4766 Played about 6 hours today and with DLSS and a mid tier rig with an 8 year old cpu/motherboard i was at a capped 60 frames with over 75 uncapped. VERY happy with performance. it is by far better then Tarkov especially for what it is doing.

Tarkov was the exact same if not worse for EOD which was 150 bucks so it all matches up really. You could buy EOD for Tarkov when all you had was basically a half finished Factory
@@MultiSS55 there was 4 maps in 0.2 when game became public, and I mean, Tarkov have what most games lack - it gives you fellings. Accomplishment when find something valuable or kill a foe with cool gun, adrenaline rush in firefights, frustration when you get killed. Tarkov is very visceral. Many of these points are just missing here. In all videos I watched it feels just boring to play. I will definitely try it myself to disprove my assumptions, but right now the game lacks depth in my opinion.
And I don’t see community outrage about steep pricing. Seems like majority is like “yeah, they’re using the situation in their benefit, well done”, which is also hilarious 😄

Ugh, game seems like it will be great eventually and I feel like I will want to play it someday but I'm so over buying early access games at this point. I'll hold for at least 1-2 major updates.

Its quite literally an exe that serves no purpose other than to spawn and then despawn the player in a fancy GUI. Everything in between is just pointless "press X to win" busy work.

I think your times may be incorrect. I've seen it multiple times in Discord that the time announced is converted to YOUR time zone (9:00AM EST for me).
"Release time:
Approx time of launch/buy GSW @ : Tuesday, April 30, 2024 9:00 AM ( The day and time you see is the correct time . do not convert its in your time zone )
THIS IS THE TIMES GIVEN BY THE DEV TEAM NOT STEAM!" Again, that's 9:00AM for me and I am in EST.

Are all versions of the game available on April 30th, cause the base version is the only one that says release April 30th. All the rest say 2024.

For thr LZ, what if the change the helicopter to a Chinook style, rear loading chopper. When you infil or exfil, there is an 4 man AI firing squad that is first off the bird to provide brief cover for you and your team getting off the bird. The AI team could have a buffed health pool with highten awareness and accuracy for those that are camping LZ. Thoughts?

PvE only mode should be COMPLETELY separate! ofc it'll be abused. Theres a reason people try to use empty servers in tarkov. The only reason why quests are difficult in tarkov is because of PvP. Please don't let this be in the game! The meta would then be PvE mode until max lvl/traders to then stomp any timmy who dares try PvP first. NOONE would quest on PvP servers

If they nail the optimization of this game it could be unbelievable. If it’s not too hard on cpu/gpus doesn’t have memory leak issues and you can maintain stable fps with a decent pc as well as having good enough audio this game could easily be better then Tarkov. Tarkov has had years and the same bugs and problems still repeatedly exist or comeback.

I hope they don't remove the ability to use PvE obtained equipment in PvP. It really helps them capture that casual Tarkov-like player base without actually having to make the PvP more forgiving.
I'm 100% against it, will make the meta become farming pve for gear and then switching to PVP servers to fight. Will make it so the PVP servers strictly be a PVP sandbox , no in between, so either it's pve or pvp, game will become stale as hell really quick

I assume you can upgrade versions considering it's steam. They have a much more successful DLC syste,. It should be easily available for them to add the upgrades in there.
Hopefully there’s faction balancing so streamers don’t screw the servers up with everyone wanting to join said streamers choosen faction

I've seen it repeatedly that the TZ shown in Discord is OUR time, not converted which shows 9:00AM EST for me.
