Becky, though food grocery prices are wild these days, your hauls are well within reason. You do better than you give yourself credit for. Most importantly, you are so considerate and thoughtful to keep things that your guys enjoy (including Jack!) Wow! Michigan Cherry BBQ chips? They look interesting. That chili sauce is bomb with crab rangoons or regular egg rolls. The yard and paito are beautiful!!! What a wonderful space to spend summer evenings and a great area for Jack to also enjoy. You truly have a green thumb. Kick those "blah" feelings to the curb and give yourself kudos for all the beautiful ways you create a warm and loving home! Thanks for sharing . Im a avid gardener as well. If you notice the pepper plants are getting a yellow tinge . There is a nitrogen issue. It happens in different ways. 1 if you are not dosing weekly . 2 watering issues sometimes causes nutrient lockouts. I noticed the soil is a bit wood chippy happens with companies trying to save cost . but they cause issues . The wood chips tend to soak up nitrogen and also cause water issues. Easy fix would be watering 2 times a day and or some good ol fertilizer. For the pepper plants i would pick off the buds. They tend to do that when they are stress. The plant is still to small to support fruit. If you pick off the bud it will redirect energy to the roots and continue faster growth on top. But if you leave it on it will develop a small fruit and grow a lot slower up top.
