so the dashboard just bolts on directly onto the fittings or do I need an adaptor kit? you kinda cut between removing the old one and the final product lol

Toyota does sell them depends on the region you're in. However you're looking at a much heftier price tag when opting to buy brand new.
Why did you not install original ducting with this dashboard?
Original ducting and HVAC wasn't purchased with the dashboard assembly.
