Looking at Esquif and Nova canoes at the moment. Not sure yet which I will get. Thanks for sharing all the info on the Esquif.
I was torn between nova craft as well. The selling point for esquif was the TFormex material, and there were no Nova Craft dealers near me.

I purchased the Esquif Adirondack last season as I solo canoe the small lakes hear in Nova Scotia.
Its been the best canoe I've owned to date.
I guarantee you will not be disappointed with an Esquif product.
They are strong, light and we'll made.

@backinthewoods2022 I'm bringing the wife and son so we decided to enter on Clearwater Lake and set up a base camp and do day trips from there. We are going to stay 4 days!
Good luck with that canoe. I'm going Friday to test out and hopefully purchase an Esquif Adirondack. Like you I spent the last six trying to figure out what the best canoe for me is. The Adirondack checked all the boxes for me, from durability to weight to carrying capacity to price. point
It's so difficult to choose. But I feel confident I made the right purchase for me. Good luck to you as well!
Does TOC sell the Prospecteur 17?
I think they do in the wenonah brand but not esquif.
Wenonah does not make a 17' Prospector. You probably saw their Spirit II. Thank you for responding@@REXpeditions
@texasriverrunners9254 ahh good to know. I didn't look at the Wenonah boats and I'm not familiar with them. I just glanced at them on a rack. I have reached out to Mike and will let you know what he says.
@texasriverrunners9254 just talked to Mike. He has the Esquif Prospecteur 16 in stock but no 17s. He said he could cut you a good deal on the 16. He also said Esquif requires orders way in advanced and he most likely won't be able to get another one until next season. Hope that helps!
I saw that he had the 16's in stock on his website. I might be interested, but I would have to figure out how to get it to Texas (Houston area). I won't be near there until May.@@REXpeditions
