they'll definitely do it at some point, especially with hunter in charge. After watching this video, I'm actually all for a double turn for Roman and Cody. Then give Cody his Homelander gimmick, where he think he saved everyone by dismantling the bloodline, but he doesn't get cheered for it. The potential is there, and it'll be perfect since WWE still wants to turn Roman face at some point in his career.

This is amazing story. It also perfects the kind of Homelander character that Cody was attempting in AEW. Great all around, but practically having Cody lose a second time at Mania and Roman getting 6 more months on his reign really might not be feasible when the title reign already feels stale (not just with me but with a big chunk of the fans).
Second, transitioning from a heel title reign lasting upwards of 3 years immediately into a another heel title reign would feel ahh just kinda off. In any case, i think this is a wonderful story but heel cody should be saved for later down the road. Cody still has a lot more mileage as a face.

I'd like the gradual heel turn. The story the title that power it holds it corrupts. Cody finally finished the story, finally the top guy something he wasn't allowed in wwe or even his own promotion. Cody could be the Homelander. Slapping hands kissing babies. But when embarrassed in a promo, or made a fool in ring he goes off. The smiling mask is pulled a bit. And every time Cody justifies it in a way that he's never wrong, he was merely provoked they're the bad guy. He's still the same Cody as ever.

How I think Cody should turn heel: " Cody would be in a six man tag team match with the bloodline during Smackdown Cody would be with Jey Uso and Sami Zayn the match starts off with Roman rolling out of the ring and clearing everything off the table Roman turns around and gets a superkick by Jey Jimmy would drop kick Jey over the barricade meanwhile Cody and Zayn would be destroying Solo in the ring Roman rolls in the ring and hits a spear on Zayn Solo rolls out of the ring and Roman and Cody have a staredown Roman raises his finger up Jey superkicks Roman knocking him at the ropes then Jey bounces off the ropes and spears Roman Solo comes in and spikes Cody Zayn comes in and takes down Solo Jimmy comes in going for a superkick to Cody but Cody catches Jimmy's foot and Cody pulls Jimmy into Cody and hits a Cross Rhodes Jey sets Roman up against the turnbuckle Zayn hits a helluva kick on Roman Zayn puts Roman on the ropes and Jey superkicks him Solo spikes the referee and starts blasting the three with a chair while the referee is down Solo holds Jey still Jimmy goes for a superkick to Jey but Jey ducks and it hits Solo then Jey hits Jimmy with a spear and Jimmy rolls out of the ring Cody hits Solo with a Cody Cutter Zayn handcuffs Roman to the ropes Jey superkicks Roman and Zayn gives Cody a chair Jey and Zayn beg for Cody to hit Roman with the chair Cody hits Zayn with the chair to his back Jey would be shocked and the crowd would be dead silent Paul Heyman gets the handcuffs off Roman and he spears Jey Roman goes for the pin but also making sure Cody does not make a move Roman gets the pin and retreats with the Bloodline...

Cody Rhodes walks backstage and talks to someone backstage for advice on his new goal to put his old friends into retirement and win the undisputed universal championship the man would say: " Well you gotta catch them by surprise that's what I learned." Cody would say: " Alright thanks for the advice. " Cody walks to the ring for his match with Sami Zayn when Cody's theme song plays but it plays in a sinister dark voice smoke appears and when it disappears Cody would be in the ring wearing the Honorary Uce shirt to mess with Zayn's head Zayn grips his fist as Cody grins the match starts and it would be a disqualification match Zayn starts off in control of the match punching Cody non-stop Cody catches Zayn's fist and pulls Zayn into Cody and hits a nasty clothesline to the neck Cody starts stomping on Paul Heyman walks down to the ring and distracts the referee as Cody takes off the turn buckle Cody turns around but Zayn hits a helluva kick Cody would fall to the floor struggling to get up but Cody low blows Zayn and slams Zayn's head where the turnbuckle and Cody then puts the turnbuckle back on Paul Heyman gets away from the ropes Cody gets out of the ring and clears the announce table Zayn hits Cody with a suicide dive and Zayn sets Cody onto the announce table Cody stands up on the table but Zayn does as well Cody goes for a Cross Rhodes but Zayn counters it into a blue thunder bomb through the table the ref would be at 7 Zayn gets in the ring and Cody makes it in at 9 Zayn hits Cody with another blue thunder bomb Cody crawls to the turn buckle to rest on it but Zayn hits a helluva kick on Cody Paul Heyman pulls the referee out of the ring distracting the referee meanwhile the man from earlier was revealed to be Drew Mcintyre as he comes out of nowhere and Claymores Zayn Cody gets up and Zayn does to Cody hits Zayn with a Cross Rhodes into a Cody Cutter the referee gets back in the ring and Cody gets to three Cody stands over a unconscious Zayn as Cody leaves Jey Uso runs out to see if Zayn was alright a few minutes after Cody and the rest left the ring the screen goes static and it goes to Cody standing over a unconscious Seth Rollins Cody says: " Jey, Our match at Wrestlemania is coming soon and the more you get your little friends into this game of ours the more they get hurt... " Jey gets notice later that Seth goes to the hospital from a broken leg and brain damage from Cody's assault on Seth driving Jey's rage into the match at WrestleMania Seth challenges Cody for a No disqualification match the Monday the week before WrestleMania after suffering a broken leg for 2 months Seth makes his entrance in crunches Seth looks at Cody with pure rage in his eyes Cody grabs the mic before the match and says: " Making a match against someone that put you out just makes this worst. What are you gonna do to me? " The match starts and Seth gets his crunches out of the ring and kicks Cody away to get distance Seth then starts pounding on Cody Seth then tosses Cody away from him getting distance as Cody is getting up Seth kicks Cody hard in the side of the head hurting his broken leg while doing it Cody gets up and starts destroying Seth with kicks to the jaw Cody then hits a Cody Cutter on Seth but Seth headbutts Cody as he's getting up Cody runs to the ropes and goes for another Cody Cutter but Seth moves and then hits Cody with a Pedigree then goes to the corner looking for the Stomp Cody starts getting up and Seth hits the stomp hurting his broken leg badly he goes to pin Cody but gets to two Cody would get up and punches Seth Cody then goes for a Cross Rhodes but Seth counters it into another Pedigree and goes to the corner for the stomp Cody starts getting up and Seth goes for it but Cody moves his head and Cody gets Seth to the ground with a takedown and gets Cody in a leg lock wich is a new move Cody uses called: " The hell lock " The hell lock is different from a normal leg lock when you get the leg locked in you put your foot on the back of the knee and twist the ankle doing crazy damage to the leg Seth would be screaming in pain Seth tries to grab the ropes but Cody pulls Seth to the middle of the ring and Seth taps out right after the match medics come in escorting Seth out of the building as Cody wins the heavyweight championship Wrestlemania comes and Cody walks to the ring with Drew Mcintyre confident about the match because it's a no disqualification match Jey Uso walks out and....

Jey walks to the ring ready for the match Cody and Jey walk around the ring the match starts and it would be a no disqualification match Jey Superkicks Cody knocking him back a bit then Jey hits another Superkick on Cody Jey runs to the ropes and bounces off them and Spears Cody Jey would be fired up Jey gets confident and goes for the Uso splash but Cody catches up with Jey hitting a Cody Cutter on Jey mid air Jey gets up and Superkicks Cody Jey drop kicks Cody over the ropes Jey clears the announce table after getting out of the ring and Jey Superkicks Cody onto the table Jey gets back in the ring goes on the top ropes and hits a Uso Splash on Cody through the table Roman Reigns comes in and Spears Jey out of nowhere then Roman leaves Cody throws Jey back in the ring and goes for the pin but Jey kicks out at 2 Cody would be confused Cody picks Jey up and hits 3 Cross Rhodes on Jey Cody rests on the turnbuckle but Zayn gets in the ring and hits Cody with a Helluva Kick then Zayn gets out of the ring Jey gets up and goes to superkick Cody but Cody counters it into the Hell Lock Jey counters it into a Hurricanrana into a pin but Cody gets a rope break Cody gets up and Jey hits Cody hits 3 Superkicks on Cody then goes for the pin but gets to 2 Cody goes for a Cody Cutter but Jey counters it with a Samoan Drop Jey goes for the pin but Drew Mcintyre hits Jey with a Claymore rocking Jey Drew drags Cody onto Jey to pin Jey but Jey kicks out Drew leaves Jey gets up and Jey goes up top but Cody runs up to him but Jey pushes Cody off and jumps off the top ropes and drop kicks Cody out of the ring Jey gets out of the ring too and grabs a chair and starts blasting Cody with the chair avenging Seth Jey takes all his rage out on Cody blasting Cody non-stop with the chair till the chair breaks Jey throws Cody in the ring Jey gets in the ring Cody goes for a running clothesline but Jey ducks under it and bounces off the ropes Cody goes for it again but Jey ducks under it Jey bounces off the rope and spears Cody Jey goes on the top rope looking for a Uso Splash but when Jey jumps Jimmy Superkicks Jey mid air then Jimmy goes up top and hits a Uso Splash on Jey Cody pins Jey to 3 retaining the Heavyweight Championship next Monday Jey calls out Cody saying: " If it wasn't for the Bloodline and you're friend's I would've beaten you so badly you would be driven out of WWE like you did to Seth let's go back to medieval times because Adam Pearce made it official it's you vs me at Clash of the Castle. YEET! "

This exact storyline, but with Roman beating Cody in the end, would be a PERFECT way to get the WWE universe interested in the Bloodline, and the potential breaking of Samartino's record reign (no pun intended)
