Metal Slug X - Final Mission (Steam, "Master of Metal Slug X" achievement)

"Finish game without using continue". This is probably the only achievement stopping you from getting that 100% completion on Steam, but no worries, you don't actually have to play through the whole game. The easiest method to do it is to complete the final mission on mission mode. It might be tough pulling it off even on easy, but after a few tries it will be a piece of cake once you have the patterns down.
Here's some important tips:
1 - Don't rush the first few enemies. Try to be like Rambo and all you'll get is a wall of homing rockets flying straight at you. Without jumping on the second platform, try to get the screen to move slightly so you can kill the second enemy without having to worry about his rocket spam
2 - Iron Lizard weapon is your best friend. Kill Allen fast w/ it by jumping on top of him while shooting it downward. Just watch out for his melee. After this fight you should still have some ammo left so use it to clear the enemies after
3 - When you get the Enemy Chaser, try to use some grenades to blow up the barricades so they don't soak up any chaser missiles
4 - In the last stretch of the level (obtaining Flame Shot up until the Shotgun), its CRUCIAL to not get hit as taking out the groups of aliens with a pistol would be problematic. The white aliens not only have more health but also shoot the faster blue spores so it's best to take them out fast with the shotgun

+NightmareZero666 You're welcome man, glad I helped! The random slowdowns throws me off too at times, but after playing through the game a few times I think you just get used to it eventually. I haven't played the original in a long time so I don't remember whether the slowdowns were in the original or are only in the steam port. Thanks for watching! :D
