I met slug in Melbourne Australia 2008, I will never forget the feeling. A real guy, no bs... There was banter, and you could tell he loves what he does and that it isn't about the money. So genuine.

Kevin hit the nail on the head when he said, "You really started and cultivated a scene." I grew up despising rap. I used to say, "Rap is crap without the 'C'." One day in college I was on youtube and came across 'Trying To Find A Balance' and that started my love for rap. I was ignorant towards the fact that there were rappers that could speak to me on an intelligent level and that lead me down a path towards Blue Scholars, Brother Ali, Living Legends, Sage Francis and many more brilliant 'real' artists.
I lived just outside of Minneapolis for a year in 2000 and my mindset about hip hop was completely changed. The stuff that was coming out at that time really shaped the future for me and music.
God loves ugly! Atmosphere have been a solid duo for decades now. Their music, to me, is timeless and feels as if Slug is speaking directly to his fans.
Twin cities hip hop scene was the best part of growing up in the twin cities. Thanks to rhyme sayers.

Whats nice about Rhymesayers artist is the fans have seemed to mature with the artist and music when i was a teen and oone chatroom were newer it was alot of haye and shit talking but now its more love and appreciation for what they have done and continue to do

about 15 yrs ago I had a short but potent Atmosphere Addiction. Seeing this after all those years was a complete breath of fresh air. Wonderful nostalgia with new music! Just wonderful. thanks for making this available to watch.
From the southside mpls... in 97 had that Overcast 💿 scattered across my carpet in that first apartment, a block from Powderood Park ...💿 mixed in wrong cases, Prob in Midnight Marauders case and the Tribe on its own quest stolen the night b4 by somebody at my party, no longer to be bumpin in that 3 disc changer Aiwa stereo...anyway, I am back.! It is 2017 and ( why the F am I in Birmingham?) I wanted to thank Ant especially...wow, his beats! A true artist and like no other, and thank Slug for speaking with me those 🔟 long years in Oregon...and THANK YOU Seatle for radio stations like this one...it gives me hope, simply you give a gift as important as hope to souls like mine. Music means something to you!

Just saw Atmosphere @ Cali Roots 2018. KILLED IT! First time I saw them live and they could not have done any better. Huge fan through the days but that concert has renewed my love for the music and message. Thought I saw you Yesterday! Keep it up as always!
